yall might not care but I finally figured out how to powerclean. I'd usually struggle to hit 100 barely above parallel/riding most of them down. Today I started shrugging after my pull and that did wonders today and I hit 105 WAY above parallel. Hopefully this translates into my full cleans.

I should do this too srs because a) I suck at power cleans. I can pull **** high as **** but I can't avoid riding it down and b) I showed Takano the video from yesterday and he said I'm still leaving like 20 potential kilos off the lift by not getting hips through.
saw your most recent squatting vid....uh tips for improving your squat? lol. I am weak as fuk
I've found the best way to become a better squatter is to squat more. I know you were probably hoping for tips and tricks, but that's really it. I went from squatting twice a week to 5 days a week.
1 In the fire he stood, his hands upon the iron. And Brodin came unto him and said 2 "I tell you verily, say unto thy squat rack "be light", and it shall be defeated. Say unto thy leg press "be moveable" and it shall be moved. 3 For all things are possible with swole, and through Brodin your shepherd. 4 [For] through Brodin you have the power to trample unmovable iron and bend it to your will as you would your soul.
Hey bros. Can anyone recommend me a good online coach, there's currently none in my area and I'd like to really have an expert eye analyzing me. Thanks.
I was looking into Jared Enderton and Sean Hutchinson who both offer e-coaching for $50/mo.

damn no magic beans?
I think I need to focus on it so much more. because Im a **** squatter I always just want to get through squatting as fast as possible, dont rest enough, dont really push myself hard enough, and skip my drop down sets.

Yea if you hate squatting I could see why it would be a pain to train. When I did general strength training I hated benching, I'm still a sh*tty bencher.
There are gonna be days where you look at the schedule and think "F*ck this" and just have to grind through it.

Srs, the Oly FS and BS are such easy movements to recover from you can do them all the time, their impact on the nervous system is so minimal. I upped frequency for both (5-6x back, 5x front) and now I can pretty much, any day of the week, even heavily fatigued, front squat 315 even if I'm tired as **** because back squatting/Oly lifting came first. Like today, for example. I never take preworkout stims and today I had one of those stupid little 5 hour energies and evidently it is stronger than I anticipated and/or I'm just a gaping vagina because my legs were trembling like crazy from the stimulants. That's why I only back squatted 355, but even with trembling legs and too much caffeine to concentrate I still managed to work up to FSing 315 after BSing 355, even though I lost concentration because I was trembling so damn much that I accidentally paused at the bottom.
Reminds me of my first attempts at the Olympic lifts, they are are a complete laugh riot:
Strength + Speed = Power
If you never fail, you aren't truly pushing yourself to the limit. If you never push yourself to the limit, how do you know what you're truly capable of?

I did this over the summer, but because i was working out at 5am and had no sleep or anything lol.

for me they are 5x a week is pretty minimal for me. i feel sort of lazy only doing it 5-6x. ideal would be 10-12
You do singles and doubles though right? My BS is usually 3 or 5 and fs 2 or 3. Volume makes a huge difference.
In a session I could do 15 working reps while someone doing singles could be doing maybe 3-6 working reps
Btw I tried your high rep stuff after pr 5 yesterday...did 102/12 and then said **** this **** lol
FWIW I'm squatting 4 times a week, FS twice and BS twice. Two light days FS and BS, one moderate FS day, and one heavy BS day. Just hit 157kg for five on BS beltless. Hoping to get to 175 FS and 200 BS by April.

My jerk doesn't feel right.. I don't have much experience with it, can someone tell me everything I'm doing wrong? My heels come off the ground in the dip, should the force travel through the heels when you drive or toes like a push press? Because I feel hardly any drive and it's a weight I was able to push press mid last year..
Heels. I think you're trying to push press the weight too much, and your dip is too deep IMO.
Get down up in the jerk and get under fast, head through. You're not suppose to be pushing weight up, you're suppose to be popping it off your shoulders and pushing yourself under using the bar.
