My question is about Planet Fitness obviously. I wanted to join this gym for several reasons, mainly because its open 24 hours Mon-Thursday and they have many branches that I can go to in my area. I am always moving around between NYC, NJ, PA, CT and MA and there's always a Planet Fitness not to far away from those areas I go to and like I mentioned before its open late 24/4 and the price is pretty damn cheap (20 dollars a month if you get the blackcard and you can bring a free guest anytime with that card to any Planet Fitness branch) and accessible.
On top of that, it is really pretty looking (which I honestly don't care about I prefer the more rustic, beat down type of gyms but those seem to be fading these days and are few and far between), and I won't deny this; the women. Its always a great place to meet some rather pretty ladies who are into fitness as well. However, despite the motto being "Judgement Free Zone"; it sure doesn't live up to that moniker. I looked at the rules for one place and I seen a lot of rules pertaining to the "meat head type". Like no grunting, no dropping weights on the floor, no screaming etc. Which is fine with me however, their free weights don't surpass 55lbs, and they don't allow push-ups on the floor? Excuse my vernacular but what the duck?
You can't wear bandanas, or anything that appears to "Meat Head" like. Which I think is ridiculous. I love working out and I workout hard. I don't grunt, scream, slap my face, drop weights and scream "light weight!". All of which is great and I seriously don't mind but I am afraid at this particular gym they'll exile me for being too hardcore in the sense that I lift heavyweights, and usually like wearing a beanie cap or bandana. It's just my thing to do that and I'm willing to abide by their rules but I want to know how it is and if anyone else has experienced this gym?

If it appears to the more "casual" person going to a gym for the first time, I might have to pass up on it. It just seems really convenient and the price sounds good.
I used to go to a Power House gym but they cut hours significantly and I can usually just workout at night which is not possible at the Power House I used to go to. Bally's is nice but too expensive and seems more like a "social hangout" then a gym at times.
Well, give me your thoughts on this gym please. Thanks.
