Daily dose of insanity - Crazyenough's log
Alright, I am a crowd pleaser, so here it goes! ;o)
Being a rather complex being in nature, what you may encounter in this log/journal may vary from day to day, but it is meant to track progress, expose weaknesses and share all of the ups and downs of this life long journey that is my quest to maintaining a healthy life in a fine-looking-healthy-body!
Current goals :
*Contest*
Completing (and winning - Sticking tongue out at MoEcho) the fall OBF - Women's transfo
*training*
I want them darn 90's to go up for 5-6 reps on Incline DB press before X-Mas...of 2009 of course lol (currently hitting 80's x 6)
*Personal*
know my limits this is huge. I have health issues (adrenal defficiencies) that force me to manage training, diet and life in general, a little differently. Im an all or nothing kinda gal, so this is a huge challenge!
*growth*
Ive completed IFA and CanFit Pro certifications in the past few months, and am now ready for a complete career change! From engineering translator to personal trainer... I have a feeling that my credit card may become a little stuffed in coming months! lol Furthermore, Im also back in school - distance learning, pursuing a fitness and reabilitative exercise degree.
Add 2 kids, 4 pets and and outstandingly supportive (and hot!!!!) spouse to the mix; Its almost pointless to say that my days are full and extremely fulfilling!
Ill start with my last 2 workouts:
Oct 13th - Leg death
Widowakers on squats. 1 set @ 235
Reversed pyramids - Leg press 20-12-10-1 reps up to 720 (first set)
Then same reps but only up to 510
Lying leg curls 10-8-6 up to 135 to relax a little
3 X supersets of leg extensions(3 second hold at the top) and seated leg curls, 10-8-6.
F-R-I-E-D! that, we were!
30 minutes cardio, spread between the stepmill and treadmill
Oct 14th - chest
I love when my beloved tags alon, coz she's become a great spotter and pushes me during sets.
incl db presses 10-8-6-6 with 60-65-75-80.
6X 80 is a PR, I only managed 3 the last time! woohoo! I can smell the 90's, can you?
decline HS press 10-8-6 up to 245
HS wide press 10-8-6-4 uo tp 2.5 plates
and finally, pec dec 10-8-6 up to 165 superset with incl. flies at 25.
Cardio, 15 minutes (sessions alternate: 30 minutes, 15 minutes, after every workout) on treadmill, decline (downhill).
There you have it!

cuff work and w/u
Seated db press
10-8-6 uo to 65
HS machine press
10-10-8-6 up tp 120
front db raises
10-10-8-6 up to 35
rev pec deck SS with db lateral raises
up to 120 up to 30
10-8-6
no cardio today.
My heart rate was high as **** upon rising and hit 150 in no time during the 5 minute cardio warmup... My body is talking, I must listen.
weight was down by a full pound today. cals still onna be dropped.
PS: Brian, NO pics of tits and A$$.... Imma loose my spot in bed if I do that! lolol

Thanx for stopping by!!! My damn legs are still sore after that workout!!! sheesh!
Actually, my issues are with cortisol and aldosterone. Furthermore, I get estrogen spikes, out of nowhere (not in typical peak periods) and my free test is elevated... This is makes it difficult for my body to manage BP and cardiovascular functions amongst other things and to regulate the metabolism of proteins, carbohydrates, and fats... SO my approach to "dieting" differs widely from that of most dieters...
I am SICK dammit!!! Cold / flu / mad cow disease lolol Stuffed nose, sore throa, felt feverish last night... grrrr
I may try to chase it off at the gym...nothing like a back day to rdi oneself of the flu! lol
