What do you mean by "non-Indigenous"? Whale hunting is "indigenous" to their culture.

Nope, but the Australians are known for their graphic adverts. And it's all relative, if it was banned, it certainly shouldn't have been due to racism, but gore if anything.

Fact of the matter is.. whaling is fine and dandy.. until whales start to diminish, this is where Japan or whale hunters for that matter need to start farm raising whales for food. Or at least to populate the ocean with a lot more food

As for Australia's advertisements... they're blunt and seem more mature in a sense than your typical American advertisements. For example, look up their Anti-Cig advertisements. They're pretty gruesome.

There is the issue that it is a beer company's cheap marketing scheme to try to make people boycott Japanese beer, based on a completely different issue.

Political correctness gone bloody mad! Not the way the lucky country wants to go. We poke **** at each other here, its our culture but is starting to change because of outside influences. The kind of pc crap that resulted in this ad being hooked makes me mad as a cut snake.
