    imo it depends on your current muscle level. if you're already ridiculous and huge, it'll take a lot more protein to see a difference.

    of course carbs and healthy fats have their importance too.

    I honestly don't know the scientific answer. But when HUGE guys say to eat 2 grams of protein per pound of body weight while bulking, I take them seriously.
