I was just offered Kiprusoff for Tim Thomas
I had to go make sure Kiprusoff wasnt injured. Trade doesnt make sense, I accepted but it will probably get vetoed.

Boston. He won the Vezina trophy last year (league's best goalie). Strong unaware.

How does the trade not make sense? Thomas won the vezina last year while kiprusoff had a less then impressive year. You will lose this trade.

there is no way i lose this trade, kiprusoffs fantasy value is way above thomas's
the guy consistently starts over 70 games per year vs thomas in the mid 50's, that = a chit load more wins

Trade is a toss up. Kipper is ranked higher in most leagues but Thomas has more upside since he is younger. Kipper is playing on a significantly better team though.

With that defense, Kipper should face a lot less quality shots

Definitely make the trade for Kipper. As you said, he has much more fantasy value.
