Numb/Cold Hands

Flat heavy barbell and dumbbell bench press weakens the sensitivity of my hands on my palms and causes them to go cold. When I grip, I lock my wrists straight and grip the bar normal (not wide). I am considering trying reverse grip bench press because after every chest workout I have this problem. My hands used to go numb from doing tricep work, so now I do not do tricep work and they just go cold for a while if I do bench press heavy.

I'm 155 lbs - benched 250 the other day. The obvious answer is to try reverse which I will. Any powerlifters with a similar experience? It's obviously carpal inflammation but I am interested in techniques to get around this. My shoulders have widened about an inch over the last 3 weeks due to this heavy benching and I am addicted.
