Fleeting Muscle Cramps = Age

I've started to notice weird cramps happening from time to time. Very painful.

Like I'll just lay down and all of a sudden one of my delts gets this intense cramp pain surging through it. Then it slowly eases off and completely goes away.

It also happens with a hamstring, calf, pec, bicep, or tricep from time to time. It doesn't seem to be directly related to DOMS or what I worked that day or day before, but it does seem to be related to what I may have worked in general in the recent past, like 2-4 days ago.

What the hell is this? It's starting to bug me lately because it seems to just sort of "happen" more than it used to.

Do you do any other form of physical work or discipline? Something that engages your muscles in something other than strict lifting?

Try recovery protocols such as stretching, contrast showers or baths, swimming etc.

Here is something I found regarding cramps. Seems like there are a ton of reasons for it.

Just my 2 cents worth: You may be already doing this but I find that doing agility/speed conditioning keeps my nervous system quiet and satisfied.
