can someone direct me to an article which explains about reps(not greens)...

I got the basics of nutritions down, and now Im trying to understand what are the effects for certain amount of reps, i.e 5 reps are strengths... what are the others? how is diffrent rest times affect the muscle, and all those kind of stuff
