Call Me Shallow... (Long Read)(Serious)
Where should I start? Motivation... what motivates me? A little bit from everything, from my everyday surroundings to the most significant of things. Everyday I see people obese walking around and I wonder to myself how they have such great potential to become better. I used to be fat myself, but with the everyday abuse of me being fat had given me the drive to push on.
but my main motivation now, call me shallow, but, is a girl. Not girls, but the girl. I've been lurking around these forums and long enough to tell that most of you haven't found the right one and generalizing girls with the same personality. I can honestly and confidently tell you that she proves that theory wrong.. Luckily for me I have found the right one. Although there's a slight problem. She looks to me as a best friend. This is where my motivation lies. To not be faster, better or stronger - but the fastest, best and the strongest. My last rep in every workout is to my very last breath of energy, and to the thought of her. A chance for her to actually hold my hands.
There's this paragraph in a book that always gets me.
"I wanted so badly to lie down next to her on the couch, to wrap my arms around her and sleep. Not ****, like in those movies. Not even have sex. Just sleep together, in the most innocent sense of the phrase. But I lacked the courage, and I was gawky and she was gorgeous and I was hopelessly boring and she was endlessly fascinating. So I walked back to my room and collapsed onto my bed, thinking that if people were rain, I was drizzle and she was hurricane"
Her smile, her scent, her voice - everything about her is my motivation, and the reason why I try to be better.
I hate how she has so much control over me. When she cries my day darkens and when she's happy everything seems brighter. Whenever I talk to her my heart skips to a different beat. Whenever I see her my eyes refuse to look away.
I just love her.
Simple as that.
No poems, no pretty drawings,
I love her.

Also ITT OP thinks he's the only guy in the world to have ever fallen in love.
And soon there will be a thread where OP posts that all women are cheating whores because he has already put this pussy up on a pedestal and is in the friendzone and therefore she is not sexually attracted to him at all and if they end up in a relationship it will only be a matter of time before she breaks his heart.
Sorry OP. I dug your quote though.

Every 15 year old in the world thought the girl they had in high school was the one that was meant to be forever. The few that were stupid enough to get married eventually get bitter divorces at 22 when they ask themselves what it would be like to be with other people.

Oh Lord, 15 years old? Seriously? Props for letting all that stress out though. You will grow up and learn. No one will block your path at this age, so it's just a matter of learning, tears and laughs, joy, inevitable phase.
One word of advice though, always use your condom

I am 31 and what is this?
Just kiddin' bro. If you feel that way about her than good for you. Why don't you man up and try to make a move? You're always going to think there is SOMETHING wrong with you. You're never going to be perfect in your own eyes. But you CAN be confident in who you are and what you have to offer someone else. Are you actually sure that she doesn't see the potential (no badboy2) to be more than friends? Have you discussed it with her? I know I would be pretty pissed if I spent all my time trying to improve myself for some girl when I could have actually had her the whole time. Some girls actually LIKE dating guys that they are close friends with...especially the REALLY good ones in my experience. The only kind of relationship that will ever last is one where you are (or become) best friends.
Of course, I have a much different perspective than you do since I'm 31 and you're 15.

What's so immature about it? Maybe I haven't ever been out with a girl before but there's a first time for everything. I don't even know what to do right now, she jumbles me up into different sorts of mood everyday.

Nothing except you're 15.
It's good that you're motivated to improve yourself, but if your motivation is going to depend solely on someone other than yourself, you're setting yourself up for a fall.
What happens if she moves? Starts going out with someone else? Or you two get together and then she breaks up with you? Are you going to stop?

Yes, it's called being 15.
We were all 15 once.

You shouldn't be living your life for anybody but yourself. You put this girl on any higher of a pedestal and you're setting yourself up to be completely crushed by her eventualy.

He's 15. There's nothing wrong with his way of thinking. It will naturally dissolve by the age of 19-20.
