So to approach a guy and tell him he is doing it wrong or NOT

Serious

Ok so the dude in my gym
I see him every day doing the same exact machines, exact same weight, every single day.
He racks up the lower chest machine with like four plates on each side, his ROM is about 1 inch.
He is about 5,9 150 lbs. Looks to be Indian or Nepal
One day as I was on the leg press last year I had like 7 plates on each side, and as I was about to take the off, he walks up and says, hey can you leave them on as I do that weight too.

So the sad part is I left the weight, but he never got on the machine that day.

So to approach him and ask him, why is he doing the same exercises every day, and what his goal is.

Or just let him be and shake my head once in a while when I walk by him.

I am willing to help the guy out.

Let him be man unless he asks you. If he doesn't do his own research etc before he gets to the gym, then it's his lost. If you do go up, just direct him to the forums or something, don't try to show him everything.

my rule is, you can if you are twice as big and twice as strong. There is a guy in my gym who does something similar with the barbell bench, but he is huge. I'm guessing its for his tris, and it seems to work.
