    Pls estimate my BF%? (pics incld!)

    hi there, i can't really afford a pair of callipers, plus i've heard they are one of the most inaccurate tools to measure BF%.. regardless, can i please have some insight as to an approx measure of my BF% based on my pics?? thanks so much!

    ** i know that there is very little ab definition, i'm not sure if that's because of my BF or my lack of ab muscles.. nevertheless i will be working on both of these aspects, just need an estimate as to where i am right now.. thanks again.

    I could be wrong, but I would guess around 17%.

    and some people have more bodyfat in the lower stomach while other have it in their thighs, arms, etc..

    thanks a lot, just out of curiosity, do you guys at this point think i should be working more on ab exercises or diet? i'm already counting calories but just wondering.. thanks!!

    Ab exercises? Six pack comes from having a low body fat. You can do 1000 crunches a day for the whole year, but if you don't lower your body fat they wont even be visible. Ab workouts add definition to abs. At your point, I'd concentrate on cutting to a lower bf% til' you can see your abs. Then you can commence ab workouts to add definition (and so you can actually see your progress)

    Diet is essential. Trust me. crappy diet + 1000 crunches or cable crunches/whatever does NOT equal abs. Good diet (look at stickies in the nutrition section) + low bf + ab wokouts = shredded abs
