elbows hit floor before bar touches chest. fully paused. can help to work on sticking point.

One of the many reasons people sometimes do floor presses are because some people have shoulder problems such as something wrong with their rotator cuffs and so they use the floor because the floor prohibits them from going past a certain point (in this case would be your elbow reaching the floor). When the elbow reaches the floor when your doing a floor press, it works more on your chest and eliminates a certain amount of movement in the shoulders which is ideal for people with shoulder problems. However when you are bench pressing, the grip range is important because if its past the shoulder range, it significantly increases your chance of shoulder problems.

    Best of luck!

This. I LOVE floor press - one of my favorite exercises when it comes to increasing my bench max.

Where did you get this information? The exercise is essentially all triceps and shoulders (though to a lesser extent), chest involvement is actually pretty minimal...

Feel it in my triceps way more than normal bench. I did these for a while until I bought a bench.

Not entirely - just incorporate it into your routine, if you so wish.
