I'm wondering what is a normal dosage of fish oil tablets. I've been having 2 with every meal, 6 meals a day 3 hours apart.. which means I have 12 a day @ 1500mg each = 18000mg a day.
Is this too much? What do you guys reckon and what is your daily dosage? Can you overdose from fish oil?

lol 18g of fish oil is kind high, usually a couple grams makes my joints feel better. Fish Oil is a natural blood thinner so i dont know how safe taking such high doses are.

Plus the way I see it is that these guys are gym docs. They don't have any PhD do they. So how do they know the safe amounts for your body. I could post an article say the if you intake 100 grams of corn starch a day you'll get bigger and what not. Just saying that there is always a healthy limit to every thing.

very true, i just had a full physical done and i have mild inflammation. My doctor told me to simply double by daily dosage of what I was already taking. So twice a day one pill of fish oil that includes: 1200 mg Fish Oil and 684 mg Omega-3 Fatty Acids per serving. No need to over do it. your body can only take advantage of so much.

Sure. Moderation is key. But I'm pretty sure you are jumping the gun at this point. This isn't 8-10g of trans fat that we are talking about.
I used to take a 2-3 capsules a day which is probably just a couple grams of fat and what is usually recommended on a product label. Noticed nada. I increased my intake to where it is now and steadily began to notice better skin, hair, etc.
