But i honestly think iv'e invented/randomly thought of a new back exercise, personally ive never seen it before, and went on exrx.net and it wasn't there either.
My thoughts why i randomly thought of it, every back movement i can think of is a pulling motion, dead lifts, pull ups, Rows, rack pulls, all are pulling motions, so i thought how can i have a push motion that works my lat's?
Lie on a bench, best to get a spotter, have hands faced away from you opposite to normal benching and lower the weight below your chest, not above, that seems to work triceps more, was mad, in theory it works, as your using just your lats and triceps to push the weight back up, cant even feel it at all in chest
Am i being retarded and you all know of this?
Clifs
- New exercise (maybe)
- if not tell me if you have done it

You're talking about a reverse grip bench press, but it does work your lats, as a matter of fact any bench press should mostly be a lat/tricep exercises rather than a chest movement...but hey it's a powerlifter talking.

Wouldnt it be much more easier....and effective, to stick to y know, the universally accepted exercises, the barbell rows, dumbell rows etc etc....i honestly dont see what's so bad about these 'pulling exercises' like you call it....

Nothing is bad about them, i use them each back day, as do most on here, i just thought i'd try something different, whats bad it sticking to the same exercises/weights/routine each workout, just thought i would try something different, which it is clear it seems well known am i was just unaware
"When im curling up a 15lb dumbell and enter the peak contracted position, if i turn my pinky and ring finger counterclockwise ever so slightly but parallel to the hypotenuse of the equator, will this result in satellite cell proliferation and the release of fibroblast growth factors...resulting in mindblowing swoleness of ones arms?"
