i have decided to start a training journal here to track my progress as I move toward a 1000lb powerlifting total. i currently have very little experience with lifting, which is why my numbers are so low, but i hope they will quickly improve.
current stats: 5'9 170lbs
squat 230x1
bench 205x1
deadlift best set was 300x4
i am using a very basic routine i picked up off the internet. tuesday/staurday are bench+squat days, and thursday is for deadlifts. i might do really light assistance stuff on sunday, but might not. by the end of the april (4 weeks) i hope to be able to do 3 double at 100% of my current sq+bp and do 2x2 w/ 330lbs on deads. if you have any questions/comments/suggestions feel free to post

Training 4/6
Bench:
155x6
155x6
155x6
155x6
Squat:
175x6
175x6
175x6
175x6
these weights represented 75% of my maxes. bench was light but all the sets were really weird.. its hard to explain but my form was different each time. maybe becuz i didnt have a lift off. on squats, the weight was really light and every rep felt perfect. my squat endurance sucks tho, oh well. at the end of the workout i did a few (1-2) more sets on bench to try to perfect my form, i wont list them b/c they were extra. no assistance today
