    Thumbs up guess this is what 11.8% body fat looks like

    Finally got my body fat officially tested this weekend in the Bod Pod. It's suppose to be the most accurate method to date (same as under-water testing) but uses air instead of water. More info here: http://www.bodpod.com/

    It said I was 11.8% body fat (+/- 1% error) at 132 lbs. I've attached the test prinout, as well as some new photos.



    For $60 I got one test now and another in 8 weeks. I'd recommend it to anyone as it was easy and convenient.

    damn dude, where is the 15lbs of fat? lol this machine i use every other week keeps saying im between 9.3% and 9.7% but i don't look anything like that...

    not worth the $$ imo just to spit out a number ... that seems very very wrong lol

    lol i've got a little bit of fat left on the chest and lower stomach, but she said if i lose 4-5lbs it'll get me to >9%. my Tanita scale at home is only ~1% off (says im 13%) so i think ill just stick with that after my second test.

    it was kind of cool knowing how much lbm to fat mass i had going on though. thought i would actually test 16%.

    something hints to me that i need to work on my abs lol.

    i do situps every day and weighted workout on them like twice a week.. too bad im not bulking at the moment.

    like the other muscles, abs need proper rest too. i do ab exercises 3x a week mainly crunches and weighted leg raises

    i know i just do like 50 crunches in the morning to wake up, or situps. or something. its not like a full out ab workout just more like some cardio to get my blood flowing.

    i get proper rest lol

    I'm not shocked really you look around 10% ish I can still see fatty areas chest,lower abs and your not huge, not hating you look decent I dont think most people look good at very low digits 8-10% look good.

    I still think the calipers are a better method the bodpod you need to push all the air out of your body you can and still has room for errors.

    I am curious if you have tested against a pair of calipers (especially on a superallic measurement) and what they said in comparison.

    haven't done calipers, but my Tanita scale came up 13% (12% today)
