Pink's abs
I know she has a hip girdle/apollo's belt... is that caused by oblique work? I mean, does she have thicker obliques?

Lots of oblique work. One of her favorite hobbies she took up recently is trapeze work. (See her 2009 VMA performance) And recent interviews she says "Working out just makes me happy, if I feel like s*** I go workout"

It's actually an Adonis belt. . . just got your ancient Greek figures confused.

Anatomically its called an Iliac Furrow but it is a.k.a Apollo('s) belt or an Adonis Belt. Yes Adonis was a greek name but the word adonis also means "handsome young man." Apollo was the adonis of Centocelle, the most handsome man. His iliac furrow was believed to be the most pronounced feature of his body and is often shown in sculptures and paintings.
So now that's cleared up. Everyones right lol

Good to hear. I knew of Adonis from the myth of Venus and Adonis, but I didn't realize that Apollo, god of wisdom and prophesy, was also called an adonis. Always fun learning new things.
We now return you to your regularly scheduled bodybuilding and fitness programming lol. . .

I started to get a very slight line like this when I did a lot of kick boxing. I am guessing it was from all the oblique/twisting work.

Bull. Genetics might help but oblique exercises along with some weighted legs lifts will bring it out nicely in a woman.

So glad those pix of Pink are out there - I think she looks great! I'm starting to get prominent obliques from deadlifts and kettlebell exercises, and was kind of on the fence as to if I liked them or not - though they'll be a fact of life, because its not like I'm going to just give up training the way that I like to... so yeah, seeing that on Pink has helped me accept the new development and be proud of it!

Not everybodys looks the same. Some people have that cut naturally and its in their bone structure... and some dont really. Some peoples abs will go cut into 6 squares others will be longer on the bottom ect. Yes it seems like hers may be built bigger. But you wont know what your body really looks liek until to push yourself.
