    Question coconut milk

Kinda random question, but... What does everyone think of coconut milk? It's very low in carbs and sugar. Regular milk upsets my stomach, so i decided to try it, there is like 5grams of fat but only like 50 cals! Any thoughts?

    Its great..

I drink it...now that they came out with the unsweeted vanilla in half gallons (and my grocery store carries it)...5 grams of fat and 50 calories for a cup...perfect! I still like almond milk too..another good alternative.
Body built on carbs, dairy and common sense.

I have dairy allergies so I use coconut milk sometimes. I find that it is a little rich so I usually use it in baking/cooking and use rice milk or almond milk for other stuff. Make sure to get unsweetened!

My family is from the caribbean and they think that coconut milk is the cure for everything and anything under the sun over there. I don't really see anyone drinking it alone too often, but it goes in almost everything that they cook. Aside from my family singing its praises, I have always wondered about coconut milk. I know the fat in olive oil and other good fats is typically unsaturated. So I thought that coconut milk had to be good fat as well since it is from a coconut, but all of its fat is saturated? That is confusing to me... But, thousands of Jamaicans cannot be wrong

hey...sorry to bump an old thread. but I was wondering if mixing a cup of coconut milk with whey would be ok to help slow the whey from getting digested too fast, since there's 5grams of fat in the coconut milk?

Hmm, maybe stop taking whey and switch to a slower digesting protein?
