    Are the keto symptoms only temporary?

    The metallicy taste, the smelly urine, ect. I got both of those the other day after being on the diet for 3 days but today its gone. Has my body adjusted or have i been knocked out of ketosis?

    literally the only carb intake ive had is from the carbs in nuts and sugars from peanut butter and a couple other things. No sweetners NOTHING starchy, ive been following the diet to a T. And all i drink is water.

    could somebody else help me out? all i need to know is if they are temporary symptoms or not so i can make changes and figure out where i went wrong.

    comes and goes depending on how much water you drink and to a certain extent, the symptoms lessen in time. (or possibly we just get used to the smell and taste and don't notice it.)

    For me the "metallicy taste" is always there, so i brush my teeth like 6 times a day, it gets rid of it for a little while.
