A little dieting delite for those in pre-contest mode...
Ive been whipping up a little frozen desert the last few days and thought I would pass it along to my fellow preppers. I like to think I made these up, but maybe its been done before. I make these with Champion's "Ultramet" meal replacements. At this point in my prep (the end) im using the "lite" version, but the real deal full MRP is better. These ultramets are the best tasting thick protein shakes ive ever had.....its a whey/cassein blend. They are really good and have a nice nutrient profile.
http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/cn/ultra.html
Vanilla/Peanut butter ice cream thingy:
Take the "vanilla cream" ultramet and pour it in a bowl, but only add small amounts of water as you mix it into a "sludge". (Its meant to be a shake, but it mixes nicely into a pudding consistency). Add peanut butter (the more you can afford, the better it tastes). Mix it up and let it freeze. Freeze time will vary with preference. A half hour will do just to chill it, but if you like it real cold and dont mind chiseling at it to eat (makes it last longer), put it in for a couple hours. When you take it out, add some dollups of Cool Whip "free".....again, the more you can afford, the better it tastes. Then top it with Walden Farms Pancake syrup.......this is a freebie, so load up.
For the "Vanilla Lite" with 32g of PB and two spoon fulls of Cool Whip: P 36 C 25 F 19.5
Banana Bomb Ice cream thingy
Take "Banana cream" ultramet and mix up the sludge. Freeze the same way as above. Just before you pull your ultramet out of the freezer, slice up and pan fry a banana........just heat pan to medium, add a little pam or smart balance so it doesnt stick, and fry the banana until both sides are just starting to brown. Place cooked bananas on top of frozen ultra met. Add cool whip "free" and then pour Walden Farms chocolate syrup over everything. This might taste good with peanut butter, but I havent tried it yet.
For the Banana Cream (regular) made with 2.2 oz of banana: P 41 C 36 F 4

........dont want to get too anabolic????
Even at two weeks out and 120g of carbs a day......I make a little room for a treat. I like to get a little shot of carbs in before bed time so I can sleep well. Eat one of those babies while lounging on the couch and im out like a light.

Dude, ANYTHING looks good at weeks out! My wife took out some burgers and chicken we had left over from my daughters birthday party......she was commenting that she wanted to throw them out b/c they looked all dried up and stuff.......I was like "NOOOOOO....." I told her I could have eaten the whole container full of meat and she looks at me with this look like im nuts. Funny how we just cant stand the sight of wasted food when we are starving.

You can say that again. I've really learned to appreciate food and taste now. In the last couple weeks of my prep I would actually get excited about an extra tbsp for mixed unsalted nuts as a treat.
Your deserts sound really good, if you want to add some smoothness and more protein try subbing the water for liquid egg whites. That was my before bed treat. An egg white or two with a mix flav scoop of protein powder. 30g of protein with almost no carbs or fat and under 150cals. Have a tbsp of nuts with it and you're still only at 200cal with the added EFA fats to keep the cravings down through the night. Perfect treat if you're going low carb.

I love me some sludge. I've been eating that stuff for over a year, even when not dieting!
I haven't had it with that particular type of protein though.

So far the Scivation choc seems to make the best sludge. (brands tried .. Allmax, Dymatize, EAS)

My favorite is chocolate or vanilla nitrean. I like to add 5g cocoa powder to choc sludge and a lil van extract + cinnamon into the van sludge. Sludge is BOMB!!

Guys, if you havent tried these ultramets as sludge.....you gotta. They are so much thicker than a normal whey protein. It comes out like the consistency of peanut butter. Im thinkng about tonights sludge as I type........vanilla cream, PB, and banana topping.....I love refeed days.

I just picked up 4 tubs and diff flaves of BioX tonight so I'll have to try a couple and get back to you My store doesn't sell ultramets, I've actually never heard of it. Maybe it's a USA thing?
