Any1 here serve(d) in the Coast Guard?
I'm bored reading through the USCG web site and both Damage Controlman and Aviation Survival Technician seem like they'd be pretty cool jobs, only I imagine the AST position(Rescue swimmer I think) must be hard to get as its probably everyone's first choice lol. Working with my hands, the thrill of handling emergencies, and most importantly, firefighting, are all things I'm looking for in a career anyway and it sounds like these are the main duties for Damage Controlmen.
100% of my determination just isn't in finishing school right now, and I'm still in my younger 20s and need some excitement.

The remarkable thing is, you have a choice every day of what your attitude will be. Life is 10% of what happens to us and 90% of how we react to it."
