    Does glutamine expire?

I bought some glutamine like 6 months ago because this cockhead salesman told me it was as amazing as the powdered bones of Christ or some such. Then came home and actually researched it and there seems to be a general scientific consensus that it's useless, though some bbers do take it and say it's wonderful. I didn't bother using it, but now I've started a cut and thought I may as well take it, seeing as I'd already bought it, in case it can make a slight amount of difference to recovery or whatever else it claims to do. However, looking at the container it apparently expired in July.

Does anyone know if these things actually expire? Or whether their (supposed) effectiveness decreases with time or if it's a big conspiracy spread by supplement companies so that people will unnecessarily restock on their product or if after a certain period of time glutamine becomes chemically identical to *******.

Cliffs: Glutamine expired in July, should I still take it or not?

Note: Don't turn this into a debate about whether or not glutamine is worthwhile. I understand it probably isn't according to all the research done on it, although some of the things they've tried to show in the studies seem illogical - like seeing if it increases strength, which glutamine doesn't even claim to do I don't think. I've heard enough anecdotal evidence that it may be worth a try, but mainly the fact that I already have some is the reason I'm thinking of using it.
