Article advocating exclusively full-body workouts
I found this article, and wondered what some of you thought ...
http://www.menshealth.com/cda/articl...00cfe793cd____
I'm guessing that goals would play a large part in whether this would be beneficial: if one is a competitive bodybuilder, particularly one who is emphasizing growth or symmetry in one or more muscle groups, full-body workouts would not be the best route.
Thoughts?

bottom line is you can find an article to support anything.
You could probably find one that says not working out is the best way to build muscle.

I guess this is why bodybuilders today perform only total body workouts three days a week. When will people stop trying to find THE way to lose fat, gain muscle etc... instead of taking into account that each human has different percentages of types of muscle fibres and that peoples metabolisms function differently? They attempted to address the fibre type differences with the rats...but prefaced the experiment by saying how homogenous rats are compared to humans! WTF? Metabolism/nutrition was not even discussed as a factor. Weak.
