    How many times a week do you deadlift?

    I'm thinking of doing deadlifts 2x a week instead of once, is this too much, since I heard your back takes a long time to heal after doing deadlifts.

    if your back is sore at all on the day before you do deadlifts for the second time I wouldn't do them.

    1ce but im on ironaddicts basic strength training plan so its a 3 day split with 4 diff day workouts so every once in a while i dont deadlift in a week.

    Why is it okay to do other exercises 3x a week but not the back. How many times a week can I do chest routine? I wouldn't think 2x a week for deadlifts would be automatically too much.
