Let's talk retirement
I was thinking about it and I wonder if Jay will come back. I think he will but there is no better time for him to ride off into the sunset. He's on top of the world, reached his goal of 3 sandows, and just showed his best physique ever......or that could make him wanna keep going for #4.
And what about Dex? He never thought he'd win an Olympia. He did that and surpassed all his own expectations, and is coming off a disappointing 3rd place. He's already won the Arnold twice and Ironman once, and hes almost 40. Is there anything left for him?

For jay, maybe, I think he will still compete, I bet he could win one more time.

if jay shows up like that again, or even better, i can see him winning at least another 2 so i dont think he should ride off just yet

i think jay will retire. im sure he would rather end his career with a win and not a loss cause im not sure if he can take a win next year.

If Ronnie does come back for one more year then I think Jay will come back, although I don't think he'll win again.
Heath and Kai won't make the same mistakes two years in a row. It's truly their championship to lose now. They are going to be battling for the next few years to come unless one of them gets injured. And know knows what a fully recovered and healthy Victor Martinez could do.
It would still be epic to see those two compete one last time. That would definitely give next year some major hype.

i think cutler should retire. this is his best showing as far as combination of mass & condition. it would be very hard to repeat something like this. he said re 2001 that what he did to get that way nearly killed him & he wouldnt do it again. this yr he was on a mission & nailed it. he should retire on a high, it dont get any better than this especially reclaiming when few thought it possible. & lets face it, he is better fighting as the underdog.
dex was considering retirement even last year, that is before he won, so its close for him as well. I think he'll do another AC & thats it.

If I was him I think I would retire now. He's been a pro for about 10years or something and he just made history and won the biggest prize in bodybuilding, no better time to walk away. However I get the feeling he'll go for another and announce before the show it will be his last.
