Jsfmt99's 30 day Mitrotropin Cycle

Day 1
I"m going to give this a shot for the next 30 days to lean out and cut bodyfat.
I gave up all caffeine and upped my water intake to 2 gallons each day.
All meals will consist of 45- 50 grams protein and I will do high and low carb days with 110 grams carbs on high carb days.
First dose taken at 4 am

Day#2
So far, so good.
My work schedule for this week has me up at 4 am. I take the first dose imediately, wait 30 minutes and then had my 1/4 cup oatmeal, 50 gram protein shake and 4 boiled egg whites.
I am eating extermely clean throughout the day and have upped my protein intake to 250 grams per day and am eating the recommended amount of carbs with each meal. Took dose #2 at noon. Have avoided all caffeine and as I am a lover of coffee the transition isn't as bad as I thought because I am focusing on my goals. Have upped my water intake to 1.5 to 2 gallons of water each day.
I am sore from yesterdays workout, chest and triceps are sore so I know I got in a good workout and went to complete failure. Haven't done any HIT cardio after coming off of the sinus infection and bronchitis but have been swimming instead. Last nite I swam 33 laps.
Got on the scale and dropped 2 pounds down to 171. Tonite will work back, biceps, calves, abs and get in another swim. I am going to do abs every day.
Side effect of the mitotropin: I feel alittle edgy and anxious. Could be from the combination of the Mitotropin that I am stacking with L- argenine and L- ornathine. Or it could be from my hour ride home through the Philadelphia traffic.
The Mitrotropin has not effected my sleep and I am hoping to get good results from it.

Day#3
Up at 4 am and took the first dose right away, and 30 minutes later had 6 boiled egg whites and my 1/2 cup oatmeal. Hectic day at work and was in meetings all morning. It is important that I eat every 2 hours and im getting that in one way or another. I got in meal #2 with a 50 gram protein shake. During the second half of the morning meeting I had a 30 gram protein bar. Took the second dose of Mitrotropin at noon. Had boneless skinless chicken breast with green beans covered in shaved almonds and it was really good. Around dinner time I had 6 ounces of plain albacore tuna with 1/2 cup of chopped onion and 1/2 cup of white rice. Before my workout I took my L-argenine and L-ornathine and creatine chased down with a 50 gram protein shake.
The protein shakes I use deliver 50 grams protein isolate with 200 calories and only 2 carbs.
Hit the gym with a vengence. Worked shoulders and traps hard to complete failure. Did 500 ab crunches and 300 of them were with 120 pounds added and my abs are sore. I also did alot of oblique work with and without weight added.
After the gym I took another dose of L-argenine, L-ornathine and L-glutamine. Chased it down with 1/2 cup fat free cottage cheese and 4 boiled egg whites. Will have a 25 gram protein shake before bed. Have been drinking a lot of lemon water. One whole lemon squeezed into a gallon of water and it is more palatable than regular water and Im used to it. Will check my weight tomorrow and see whats going on.
All in all today was another successful day.
I am tired and will get a good nites sleep.
Today was a victory.

Day #4
Up at 4 am and took first dose by 4:15 am. Dropped more weight down to 169 pounds.
Ate clean all day and upped the carbs alittle bit just to keep my system guessing to prevent adapting. Worked hard at the gym doing pyramids did legs and felt like I was gonna throw up afterwards so I know I got in a good workout. Shoulders and traps are sore but otherwise OK. Got in 500 ab crunches also. At this point, I dont want to really drop weight I want to drop fat. So far, I like the Mitrotropin and I like the discipline that has to be put into it for it to work. Its good to have a plan and schedule to stay focused on and follow. I give today a 9 out of 10.

Day#5 Friday 90 minute swim.
Traps and shoulders are sore. Woke up at 4 am and took dose #1 at 4:15 am. Had a busy but productive day at work and I ate clean throughout. Took dose #2 at 1:30. According to the workout schedule that comes with the Mitrotropin today was supposed to be an off day from the gym. I went anyway. The gym was dead. I guess people don't like to work out on a Friday. Better for me because I wont have to wait for anything. I didnt lift but I swam for 90 minutes and gave my shoulders and traps a good stretch. Then I had a good soak in the hot tub. Didnt go into the steam room. Still alittle freaked out that some old dude died in there last week. Had dinner at my cousins had a 90% lean burger on a whole wheat bun loaded with lettuce and some plain chicken wings. Im noticing that I am getting leaner but I dont want to lose the muscle mass. If I start to drop more weight Im gonna up my carb intake alittle bit to balance things out. Today gets an 8 out of 10.

Day 6 Saturday
Up at 7 am and took the first dose right away. Had a bunch of eggs and 1/2 cup oatmeal 30 minutes later. Ate clean all day. Took Mitotropin dose #2 around 2 pm. Had a 50 gram protein shake pre workout along with my L-argenine, L- ornathine and vitamin C. Then I took my creatine and I was ready to work.
Got in a great chest workout started out with 5 sets flat bench pyramiding up. Then 5 sets incline bench pyramiding up and then down until failure. Moved on to 5 sets dumb bell presses and then 5 sets flies until failure. Chest felt pumped and tight. Wanted to do cable crossovers but the machine is down and that sucked.
Then it was onto triceps.
Warmed up on the cable pushdown with 100 pounds x 15 reps and it felt good. Did 4 more sets 15 reps each at 110 pounds, 120 pounds, 140 pounds and 150 pounds. Then I went for the burn. I did the whole rack 200 pounds x 15 reps x 2 sets until failure and that was great. Then I dropped it down to 100 lbs x 15 reps, 90 pounds x 25 reps and kept dropping the weight and going higher reps until I couldnt even push 10 pounds. Took a rest. Then I did one of my favorites 5 sets skull cruchers warmed up with 30 lbs then 40 then 50 then 60 pounds for 3 sets 15 reps each. Dropped the weight down to 20 pounds and kept going until failure. Got a great pump and burn out of that.
Then switched gears and moved onto ab work 500 ab crunches flat out non stop. Chilled out for 15 minutes and shot the breeze with a few friends. Then I moved onto nunchakus and got in my cardio. Played my Disturbed CD cranked up at full blast and went at it with my chucks for 45 minutes. That always gives me arms a good stretch.
The gym has been dead lately and today I found out why. Turns out that a lot of people have been crashing the gym who dont even have memberships to it. Gym management has been cracking down checking member IDs and kicking the freeloaders out. Better for me and others who pay to workout there.
All in all a good day. I give it an 8 out of 10.

Day #7 Sunday
Got up at 5 am this morning and took the first dose. Had 6 eggs for breakfast along with my 1/2 cup oatmeal. Then I went back to bed for awhile, got up again at 9 am. I ate clean for the day and hit the gym. Today I worked on Biceps, Abs, calves and back. Started on calves, did calf raises 25 reps at 200 pounds, 25 reps at 400 pounds, 25 reps at 600 pounds and 25 reps at 750 pounds. I felt that bigtime. Then I did seated calf raises 30 reps x 100 pounds x 4 sets.
Went onto biceps. Did spider curls, 4 sets x 15 reps. Then preacher curls 4 sets x 15 reps. Dumb bell curls 4 sets x 15 reps. Hammer curls 30 reps x 20 lbs, 25 reps x 30 pounds, 20 reps x 35 pounds. Cable curls 15 reps x 60 pounds x 3 sets then 15 reps x 110 pounds x 3 sets. Conmtinued on cable curls dropping the weight and increasing the reps until complete muscle failure.
Worlked back- bent over rows 4 sets x 15 reps. Seated rows 5 sets x 20 reps.
Did 500 ab crunches flat out non stop.
One thing I have noticed about the Mitotropin is that I sweat a lot more than usual while using it.
Still have to have my last meal and it will be a 50 gram protein shake before bed.
Today was a good day and I"m giving it a 9 out of 10.

Day #8 Monday
Woke up early and took the first dose right away.
Ate clean all day and spiked my carbs at lunchtime to keep my system guessing. On this program there are high carb and low carb days- seems to be working well and my carb sources are coming from morning oatmeal, white rice, an occasional baked potato. Afternoon carbs are lighter and come from broccoli, green beans (one of my favorites) or spinach. Took the second Mitotropin dose around 1 pm.
These carb highs and lows are keeping my weight in check. My goal here is to drop bodyfat and preserve muscle. I used to do HIT cycling 4 times each week but stopped. My cardio now comes from walking or swimming.
In addition to the Mitotropin I am taking my regular supplements that Ed (Oldsuperman) uses and advised me to use. These include L- argenine, L-ornathine, vitamin C and L-glutamine and creatine. Since I started taking these supplements a few months ago I have definately made gains in my arms, shoulders and chest. I have upped my protein intake to 250 grams each day and am drinking lots of water.
My size small t shirts have gotten too tight in the chest and arms and I am glad that I saved a few medium ones.
A while ago I bought a really good leather lifting belt that I can no longer use because I literally shrank out of it. I am giving it to my gym buddy Karl. Karl and I both started out as the 2 fat guys at the gym. I knew that I started at 270 but Karl was so heavy that he maxed out the scale at 320 pounds. He got down to 210 pounds and he needs a belt so Im giving him the one that I shrank out of. I picked up another really cool lifting belt at a thrift store for only one dollar and it has velcro instead of a buckle and holes in it and fits me great. Since Im lifting heavier I wear it all the time at the gym and so far so good.
Today I worked shoulders and worked them hard. I did military presses, front raises, shrugs, lateral raises over and over increasing weights and then decreasing weights with high reps until failure. Then I worked traps until they burned. So far, this has worked best for me and Im sticking with it.
Worked abs and mixed it up with weighted ab crunches, hanging leg raises, weighted oblique cable work. Did some incline and decline crunches also. Then I got on the floor and did crunches mixing them up until I could do no more of them.
This has been my 8th day on the program and I am noticing changes. I am getting more toned and now see more veins on the sides of my chest and right shoulder.
I give today a 9 out of 10.

Day # 9 Tuesday Mid day thoughts
Well Im taking alittle break at my desk after downing a 50 gram protein shake and chased it down with lots of water. Busy day today. I like busy days it makes the time go by faster snd gives me a sense of accomplishment. Shoulders are sore from last nites workout. Neck is alittle sore too from working my traps I guess. Abs are alittle sore too. Have been contemplating getting in a few sets of ab crunches here at the office- may do that later.
Its A nice day here in Philadelphia and it doesn't feel like October weather so I am enjoying it. Found out today that work is supplying me with a car for my daily commute so that is really cool. Will pick it up tomorrow.
Was up at 4:30 am and took the first dose. Waited 30 minutes and then had my breakfast of 1/2 cup oatmeal and a 50 gram protein shake. Getting in my meals every 2.5 hours isnt too bad because I prepare all of my meals way ahead of time and freeze them and it makes things that much easier. Besides that, 4:30 am in the morning isnt my best thinking time so its just easier to grab them out of the freezer, throw what I need into my lunchbox, add the ice packs and I"m good to go.
Took dose #2 at 1:30. I don't really feel anything, no increased energy like I used to get when I was using N.O. Explode but this Mitotropin stuff is thermogenic and it does make me sweat sometimes but not too often. Haven't weighed myself this week but last weigh in I was at 173 and Im happy with that. My goal here is to drop fat and preserve muscle.
Today is leg day. Will work quads and calves and work them really hard. I learned to love hack squats. They dont put any kind of hurt on my back and I get a really effective workout doing them. I like to work until failure and thats what works best for me. I am used to getting the DOMS really bad after my leg workouts. On the upside, I have noticed that when I get the DOMS my recovery time has been a lot shorter.
Looking forward to tonites workout.

4 sets leg extensions 4 x 15 highest weight lifted was the enitre rack 200 lnbs for 15 reps
Hamstring curls 4 sets x 15 reps at 60, 100 140 and 160 lbs
Calf raises 100 x 90 lbs
30 at 300 pounds
25 at 500 pounds
20 at 600 pounds
Then I did some abwork including lots of crunches and worked obliques.
Giving today an 8 out of 10

Day 10 Wednesday
Up early and took the first dose right away. Ate clean all day and took the second dose around 1 pm. I have the DOMS in my legs real bad from last nites killer leg workout. I expected this so it is no surprise. I am actually having trouble walking but this will pass. According to the Mitotrpoin workout plan, today is my rest day and I took it. I needed it but fought off going to the gym. Had thought of going swimming but needed top give my legs a rest. Took a nap instead and chilled out on this windy day and nite here.
Watched the baseball game on my new LED TV and it was awesome ! Even more so because the Phillies won!
Back to the gym tomorrow!

Day 12 Thursday
Have the DOMS really bad in my legs. So that tells me that I got in a great workout on them. No pain, no gain. Had a lot of trouble moving around and navigating stairs. Stretchd a lot and that helped. Went to the gym and worked chest and triceps. The soreness in my legs was distracting but I worked through it. Had my one cheat meal (2 slices cheese pizza) Ate clean the rest of the day and was dragging alittle. I had days like that before and am used to it. I give today a 6 out of 10.

Day 13 friday
Took today off from the gym to rest. Have the DOMS real bad in my legs and I am impatient. Wanted it to be over with yesterday- better off resting. Miserable.

Day #14 Saturday
Got a good nites sleep.
The DOMS in my legs have subsided.
I got in a great workout today did shoulders and traps. Legs are feeling better and I swam 29 laps and then soaked in the hot tub. That did wonders for the DOMS in my legs.
Went to a buffet afterwards for dinner and ate completely clean, steamed broccoli and chicken, steamed clams and crab legs,salmon, lean roast beef and it was good. For dessert I had 2 grapes, 2 oranges slices and some pineapple.
Doing my cooking for the week, boiled 5 dozen eggs.
Tomorrow Will make stuffed peppers with 95 % lean ground beef.
I have 45 chicken breasts already cooked, and frozen to use as needed.
20 cans of albacore tuna in the fridge.
I give today an 8 out of 10.

Day 15
Woke up at 4 am and did my cooking for the week. Made stuffed peppers with 95% lean ground beef and seasonings. Also made plain mashed yukon potatoes for my carb source.
Boiled 5 dozen eggs.
I took the first mmitotropin dose at 4 am and then had my breakfast of boiled egg whites and oatmeal. Ate clean all day.
I really killed it at the gym. Worked biceps pyramiding up and then down until failure. Worked abs too. My legs are over the DOMS. I got back into cardio did 30 minutes on the eliptical and then I jumped into an hour long HIT cycling class- now thats what I"m talking about! Awesome workout. I must have burned at least 1000 calories.
I feel great.
I am givng today a 9.5 out of 10.

Day 16 Monday
Woke up at 3 am. Took the first dose right away and did 30 minutes cardio to get the heart pumping and blood moving. Had my usual oatmeal and boiled egg whites for breakfast.
Ate clean all day and worked a 12 hour shift. Was beat when I got home but took an hour nap and then had a clean dinner, chilled out alittle took my supps and protein shake and then hit the gym. Got in a killer leg workout and worked abs.
I give today an 8.5 out of 10

Day 17 Tuesday
Got up at 3 am and took dose #1 right away. Then did 30 minutes cardio. Jumped in the shower and then had my usual breakfast of egg whites and oatmeal. Had a busy but productive day at work ate clean all day and took Mitotropin dose #2 at 11 am. Worked a 10 hour day, got home ate a clean dinner ,chilled out alittle and then hit the gym.
Got in a killer chest workout tonite flat bench dumb bells pyramiding up to 60 lbs each hand 15 reps 5 sets until failure. Then I threw in some negatives to get into the deep muscle tissue and it worked. Moved on to incline bench and did the same until failure. Then it was onto fliues. I did flies until failure, until I couldnt even move 10 lbs. Took a rest and then did some negative flies and felt the burn.

Day 18 Wednesday
Up at 3:30 am and had a busy day. Stayed clean on the diet and took the Mitotropin on schedule. Got in 225 grams protein in today. I need a rest and decided to take today off from the gym. I am sore and tired and instead of pushing it, I decided to hit the sack early and get a good rest.
Tomorrow is another day.

Day 19 Thursday
Ate clean all day. Got in a great workout tonite did biceps and calves until failure. Got in a great cardio workout also!

Day 18 Friday
Got up and did my cardio at 3 am. Worked a 13 hour day and ate clean all day but allowed my once a week cheat meal of a slice of pizza. Was tired, sore and exhausted and crashed when I got home. Got everything done I needed to do at the house and prepared all ofmy meals for the week. Will hit the gym with a vengance this weekend. Will do a 2 hour HIT cycling cardio on Sunday and I cant wait.

Day 21 Saturday
Woke up early at 4 am but decided to go back to bed and get a few more hours sleep. Got up at 9 am. Ate clean all day and got in a great workout. Worked shoulders, abs and got in an hour of cardio. Am going to do a 2 hour HIT cycle class tomorrow and had 1 slice cheese pizza to carb up alittle for it.
Today gets an 8.5 out of 10
