Should I go to Uni. of Phoenix or Uni. of New Orleans(serious, no idiots)
So i have am about to complete a year in community college, so I want to transfer to a university and elevated my goals. But I am torn between the choices. I heard Phoenix is reputable and relatively cheap , but it is not as prestigious as conventional universities. So I could pay more and drive farther to attend classes at UNO which is more expensive but has more extra curricular activities. Any intelligent and non bias input on this subject will be appreciated and reps will fill your CP.
cliffs:
Univeristy of Phoenix- cheaper, less prestigious, and closer to my home
University of New Orleans- Expensive, higher prestige, may look better on a resume, and farther away
any honest input to help me make the right decision.
EDIT:going for computer science. if i go to UNO i may take environmental engineering.

I live on the outskirts of the city. UNO is in the north part of the city and Phoenix is on the eastern edge. i live in the eastern outskirts.

They offer campus classes too.
http://www.phoenix.edu/programs/learning-formats.html
Campus-based Learning
If you prefer on-campus learning, you can complete your degree at one of the many University of Phoenix locations across the United States. The campus-based learning option is available in many degree programs and provides an opportunity for students to meet in person with their instructors and classmates. Students enrolled in the campus-based format:
* attend class face-to-face for interactive, seminar-style instruction just once a week for most programs. (Classes generally are held in the evening. Some campuses offer day or weekend classes.)
* work closely with a small number of classmates in a Learning Team that meets weekly outside of class to address challenges and issues faced in today's workplace.
* gain presentation skills in face-to-face class meetings.

reps on recharge.
I thank everyone for advice and the links. I am convinced that UNO is ,DEFINITELY, the better choice. UOP is a ripoff.

University of Phoenix made me the man i am today. I applied to several colleges when i graduated HS, DeVry, UoP, and ITT Technical Institute were my top three choices, and lucky for me, despite the high competitiveness of the three schools, i was accepted to both!
Now, i work for a company in fish produce. Its a very rewarding job, I get to unload the fish from the trucks -ankle high in slushy ice making just enough to support my 6 children from 5 different mothers, and everyday i think...if it wasnt for my computer engineering degree from university of phoenix, i would have never been able to attain my dreams.

now that is quality comedy there man. LMFAO. reps on recharge.
okay so now that i have decided on UNO, what degree should i pursue. I am a hands on guy, I like to always meet a challenge head on, and I like to be doing something constructive 90% of the time. So should i go for Environmental Engineering( i enjoy aiding in the welfare of nature, but i dislike high level mathematics although i'm decent at it) or Computer Science with a concentration in networking and systems(i like computers). both are highly paid and highly demanded careers, but i also dont want to have to live in a city for a job.
