Am I the only person that thinks Kai will win?
Personally I think that Kai will show up with giant size and good conditioning and will start the "Ronnie effect" all over.
Any one else think so?

No, I think so too. If he brings the same good as AC he is the winner. Heath might have made improvements and may be a champ in the futurem but I doubt it will be this year.

He will look good as always. He has no issue there at all. We'll just have to see how it all plays out. But, looking at this picture. He won't be Wolf size, lol. This was just taken like a day or so ago in Vegas. Guy next to him is 5'8", 200 lbs and on this site. This is not saying anything bad either. I think he will kick ass

He's a cool guy, his motives seem genuine but his interviews get a little too poetic for me.
Now, with his physique, there are a few things that bother me somewhat. While he has deep striations, he has recently been more watery. Many people don't notice it because of all his deep straitions but whatever, I do.
Secondly, his muscles' natural shape and attachments seem odd to me. His lower back is more developed than upper back and traps. Abdomen is oddly shaped and he struggles to hold in his gut. If he added size from the AC then It's quite possible the gut also increased.
On the plus side, his lower body is amazing.

He has the spirit to do this even from his 1st try. A truly Mr. Olympia gotta have the chance to dedicate the others competitors to do the thing that he is doing. Kai is real inspiration, its a shame that everyone is laughing on him, instead of listen and figure deep what he is talking about.
Mr. Greene for the win!

laughing? who, just read all the posts again. Everyone knows Green will be in the final call out. No hate on this guy at all. He has a chance to pull it off like the other named top Pro's.

Regarding his front-size conditioning, I actually thought he wasn't as hard as he could've been at the Arnold... But that time, he was really hyped up, really behind, and had to really push it big time to get ready. He still looked great, but IMO I also thought he didn't quite hit 100% w/ his conditioning. But I have a feeling he'll be at his best conditioning again at the O...
Also, IMO he holds in his gut really well, from what I've seen from his posing routines and stage appearances; it's just that his waist is naturally wide (it was wide back when he was still in the wnbf) and can make him look blocky in the midsection.
But yeah, his structure isn't aesthetically pleasing to many people... Fortunately he's a great poser, and I think that makes up for it a lot. And though he may not be aesthetically pleasing like Heath, at least he can look super-freaky (feathered quads and tris, striations everywhere, bone-dry look, crazy biceps, huge size).

Great reply. I see all points made. But, he was better looking than Vic and did earn the win at the Arnold.

I am rooting for Kai to win. Don't think he will though because it's his first O and he has to "pay his dues" first (bull****, btw).
Although if he does win, IMO I doubt the "Ronnie effect" will surface again. I think judges nowadays are kind of doing better at judging for the best physique, not necessarily the biggest and freakiest. Regardless I doubt there'll be the same type of "mass monster" era we witnessed years before.

More watery? This guy is as dry as a piece of beef jerky. Did you see his pictures from the Australian pro show, earlier this year? He looked extremely dry and conditioned (not watery in the slightest).

We'll have to agree to disagree then, he still looked watery to me. That lighting was great though.

Yea i noticed that as well his about his gut, its noticable even when wearing a t-shirt. Probally going to end up like Ronnie, although i think he is going to place 2-3rd in this years olympia. With Heath dominating ofcorse.

I don't think anyone doubts that Kai has a tremendous chance to win it, if not this year then soon. The thing is, with this being his first Olympia, I think most of us still look at him as an unknown. Not that we don't know him but that we don't know how the Olympia judges will treat him nor do we know exactly what he will look like. His physique has also changed drastically every time we've seen him as he's added a ton of mass over the last year or so and we don't know how that will take, especially with regards to his already protruding midsection.
I agree he'll be in the last callout and that's very impressive for a first showing, and at that point its anybody's game this year! Can't wait, final countdown is on!!!!!

Kai will not win. I will bet anyone here 1000$ on that one. His first Olympia. His short blocky build. And then theres DEX in his way. Phil looks better, Wolf looks better, Jay looks better,...Kai is NOT..I repeat...NOT the next GOAT..

Many guys have come and went with the "one day though" attitude. Unfortunately many people in the 90s missed out because the Yates and Coleman..BUT Coleman at least deserved all his wins..

I *think* Kai or Wolf will have the best package on stage. But I can't help but feel the base tester will win (ph strip). That being said may the judges pleaaase not dick anyone over too hard.

As much as I'd love Kai to win, I think if politics plays in to it he probably won't. It's his first Olympia, and he hasnt done his due yet, so to speak.

Honestly its not politics with Kai at this moment. He is new. He doesnt have the most pleasant looking physique on stage. He is short looking and kind of all squished together. Or that is how he looks to me anyways.
Good luck to him and the others though...
