I tried to decide what to do now since completing P90X. I couldn't come up with anything new to try so for now I am just going to play with different workouts all the time. I am going to go into the workouts with a bodygroup in mind and just design the workout as I go, hence the title Random Acts of Fitness

BOWLING

I forgot to write down my scores but they were not good. I think I bowled 2 160s and a 139. I am not that down about it though the first few weeks are always rough.

It felt great. I did all that in less than 45 minutes. Tonight will be Chest shoulders and Triceps. I am not sure what it will look like until I get there though.

SOCCER

We won 3-1. We played very well. We also had the stupid prick referee. There were several problems I had with him. The first one happened 2 minutes into the game. I passed the ball up and there defender cut off the pass and hit the ball out of bounds. The cumdumpster of a ref called it out on me and smiled as he did it. I laughed it off.

Second time he pisses me off. He gave a yellow card to one of our players for tripping. They were both fighting for the ball and as our player went to kick the ball their player cleared it. It was a foul but no card was necessary as there was no intent. Their player argued with the ref that the play did not deserve a card. Cumdumpster did not care.

The last foul that he called on us was the most rediculous I have ever seen. He called obstruction on us because one of our players ran into one of theirs about 50 feet away from the ball. The ball was in the box so he gave them a penalty kick basically. Both teams looked at him with a puzzled look to try to figure out who he called a foul on. The scored their only goal on this play.

As Cumdumpster walks past I let out a laugh. Here is the conversation that followed.

Cumpdumpster is staring at me and I have my back towards him.

Me: What!
Cumdumpster: I didn't say anything
Me: You're looking at me like you want to though.
Cumdumpster: I heard you laugh and I was wondering what that was about
Me: See that's the difference you know exactly what the laugh was for and I have no idea why you are looking at me like that.
Cumdumpster: You don't know anything
Me: Keep running your mouth and you'll see exactly what I know.

Luckily the ball came my way at this time and broke up the conversation.

Then after the game complete awesomeness happens. I walk up to the Ref I like to ask him about the calls Cumdumpster made.

Me: Was that yellow card that he gave Glenn necessary.
Alvin(the good ref): Well by the books if the ref sees it as an attack on the player and not the ball when its one on one like that it is a yellow card, but I would not have given the card on that play.
(i see Cumdumpster is listening to our conversation)
Me: What about that last foul for obstruction?
Alvin: That was just a horrible call.
Me: That is bad when your employee says you made a horrible call (loud enough for Cumpdumpster to hear)

It felt almost as good as punching him would.

yeah I have though about going over his head, but if they fired every ref that had complaints on them there would be no refs. The only way I would be taken seriously is if there were many complaints. I have thought about getting a petition together.

Seems like when the other team is even questioning calls in their favor, you have a good case!

CREATIVE WORKOUT

I was stuck at home and it was raining. I was also watching Eva. My plan was to go for a long walk and then if Eva let me I was going to do the P90X Stretch video.

Well I figured out a way to get a good workout in. I strapped Eva into her Hiking backpack and put it on my back. I then walked up and down our stairs for about 30 minutes. I had planned on doing a little more but Eva was getting tired of being confined and my legs were shaking alot.

I then did the stretch video in sections since I had to keep stopping to play with Eva. We had a fun play date and she even was trying to do the stretches with me. When I got the camera out to try to get footage she stopped of course.

Aw, sounds like a great night with dad.

My kids always stop when they see the camera, too. Generally they want to stop and pose.

How do you like the back ext machine?

We have one at my gym but they put it in with all the completely useless machines so I've never tried it.

I really prefer hyperextensions, Its OK but to use it properly you have to spend too much time adjusting it.
