60 Days of Mitotropin / Cytolean V2 Fat Loss !
Thanks to Zach, Des, and all at Gaspari Nutrition for the opportunity to log these products for the next 60 days.
I have hit a major plateau in terms of fat loss, so I?m hoping the next 60 days will see things going again. I will be using the Mitotropin for the next 30 days before cycling off and beginning a 30 day cycle of Cytolean V2.
I will be consuming six meals per day, six of which will consist of protein shakes (using Myofusion and Dymatize Elite Whey). The other meals will consist of vegetables (frozen), peanut butter, cheese, almonds, cottage cheese, and boca burgers. I also stocked up on some Pure Protein bars which I will use on an ?as needed? basis when I need a quick and easy meal on-the-go.
I am following the training program outlined in the Mitotropin manual (except I will be taking 2 consecutive days off instead of the 4 on-1 off plan) :
M ? Chest, Triceps, Abs
T ? Back, biceps
W ? Shoulders, traps
R ? Legs
F ? Off
I may modify the above training program over the course of this log.
Cardio will consist of walking and the trampoline (Urban Rebound)
**I will be posting some more info this afternoon as well as before pics and measurements.

The basics would be a good starting point - effects on appetite, mood, energy, focus, thermogenesis, body fat, midsection, etc. Anything that you feel is relevant, but these are really the main things we're looking for.
Best of luck, brother, and let me know if you have any questions in particular!

Did I read this right that all six meals are protein shakes as the primary protein source?

I didn't notice that, but it sounds as if that's the case.
You want to make sure you're getting as much protein from whole foods as possible (beef, chicken, turkey, fish). Whole food >>>> powders.

Oh wait! I meant to say three of those meals would be from protein shakes and three will be whole food-based meals including the foods listed.

Mostly because of work, and partly because of the convenience. I've always had my best success when I organized my meals ahead of time with three prepared (or semi-prepared) meals and three protein shakes. All the times I have tried to "wing it" resulted in an increased number of cheat days and less-than-stellar results.

Day 1
Starting stats:
weight : 206
waist measurement (w/myotape) : 38'

Today was the test dose. I took two tabs this afternoon to assess tolerance. I?m guessing the B-PEA is properly dosed in Mitotropin, because I definitely felt a bit of the buzz I used to get from taking 500mg of PEA on an empty stomach. No nervousness or jitteriness from 2 tabs, but a definite increase in energy.
No training today, but I plan to do cardio in the AM and chest/triceps/abs workout in the evening.

Day 3
This was my first day to go ahead with the full dose: 3 tabs twice per day. I got an effect from 2 tabs but 3 tabs gave me a major stimulant effect. It wasn't the nervous energy, though, like I used to get from EC. That "euphoric" effect from Phenylethylamine is very noticeable.
My sinuses have been affecting me for the last few days, so it's really difficult to properly assess energy in this state. I am like a human barometer and I get major headaches, sinus aches, dizziness, etc. when the weather changes and new fronts move through (changes in air pressure).
I've had some really long days at work for the past week, and this has really had an impact on my training. I missed all of my workouts this week, but will hit chest, triceps, and abs tonight.
It's times like these when the convenient protein like Myofusion and Pure Protein bars are needed. I ended up eating two bars today; I really didn't have time to even prepare meals.

Day 3 Cont'd
decent workout tonight...The garage was partially flooded with water from all the rain, so I used dumbells and bodyweight indoors : push ups and db presses on the exercise ball for chest, lying tri extensions on the exercise ball and kickbacks for triceps, and crunches and hanging leg raises for abs....a real makeshift operation tonight!
I finished up with 15 minutes on the trampoline...not much, but a little bit of extra calorie burning.
Also, got in the first decent meal of the day :
mixed vegetables (microwave)
string cheese (1)
1/2 cup of brown rice

Restart!
Due to being sick for the last four days, I will be starting my log over from scratch. I have had the flu for the past few days, and I haven't taken anything or engaged in any kind of physical activity beyond walking back to the couch. I am pretty much over the real sick phase now, but I have felt major weakness all day. I will either resume log tomorrow morning, or if necessary, wait one more day, and start again wednesday.

I've had great results with Mito and Cyto V2. I cycled off fat burners to give my liver a break, but I can say that I absolutely love Gaspari products. I'm a lardass, so your pleatau and my plateau are completely different, but I lost 15 lbs in the first week of Mito. Overall I lost 30lbs+ on Mito. I didn't cycle with Cyto because my Mito cycle was February, and my Cyto v2 cycle was July.
I didn't even follow the plan to the T, and I got great results. I am looking forward to seeing your progress. *Bookmarked*

Day 1 : The Restart
Thanks alot for the support, Fitzwell!
Sorry for the long delay. With the flu and now a host of problems at work jeopardizing my future job security, it has been an absolute terrible week. I'll be starting this log from scratch as I have not been taking the Mitotropin at all since getting sick. With everything going the way it is, I may be forced to skip some of my weight training workouts; I need to focus on weight loss/cardio the most anyway.
I started back this morning with three tabs of Mitotropin *with* a protein shake. The PEA effects are pretty pronounced at three tabs, so I like to minimize that euphoric feeling since I take it before leaving for work.
If all goes as planned, I will try to get my weight training back in gear this afternoon. I think, for the sake of time, I will rely on walking and the mini-trampoline (urban rebounder) for my cardio training. At this point, managing time is crucial for my fat loss goals, as well as everything else that I have going on right now.
Another aspect of all this that has suffered greatly is my diet. There have been several days where all I have eaten is a few cheese crackers, yogurt, or something else relatively small like that. I am definitely going to be stocking back up on protein bars : mostly Pure Protein bars but maybe a few others like Met-Rx for variety. I know a lot of people have negative opinions about protein bars (ie "glorified candy bars") but at this point I think they may serve a very useful purpose in my case.
