Question Protein Vs. Weight Gainer??

I am looking for some feedback on adding protein or a weight gainer to my summlements. I am at 187lbs and approximately 18.5% bodyfat. My goal is to add mass to my upper and lower body and loose some bodyfat, I believe I would like to be in the lower teens (BMI) Are there and advantages to the mass gainers or should I just stick to a good quality protein?? Thanks.....

If you haven't been taking any protein yet, that is where I would start.

You are going to need to watch your diet properly if your goal is to lose fat. You are going to have to burn more calories than you consume, and he make sure you have enough protein in your diet for muscle building. ~185g of protein per day in your case.

if your goal is to lose body fat then don't go with a weight gainer. Go with a lean protein (low calorie) product, for example EvoPro, Isopure, Syntrax Nectar, or something similar. A weight gainer will contain too many calories for you to cut body fat.

Take a look at a nice whey protein because with your current goals a gainer is not needed or beneficial. A few names that I would take a look at for quality and price are Xtreme Formulation's Whey, Scivation Whey, and ON Whey(little bit more expensive). Good luck with everything.
