Search Function needs to be modified
Just one aspect: When you search for something, it brings up the older posts first. It needs to be changed so that we get the newer posts first.

If you go to advanced search it's much better.

True, but I bet the majority don't #1 even bother to go there nor #2 change the "Sort Results by" value.
It should be easy enough to throw a new hidden field in and make it work

Yes I always use advanced but you shouldnt have to modify to receive newest posts first.

I agree. What also pisses me off is that if I accidentally click search/enter twice, or if I get impatient and click it twice, I have to wait 30 seconds before I can search again and see the results..ANNOYING.

go to advanced once, and change the settings, then go to the bottom of the page and click save. You never need to do it again

I'm not familiar with vbulletin but one would certainly assume there is a way to set the default search order. Obviously so, because it was that way before the "updates"
I also get PAGE NOT FOUND 20-30 times a day also
