Amazing work. This is inspiration for me, having started out at about the same weight. How often did you have to cut throughout the 5 years? Or did you just gain that mass very slowly with little bodyfat?

i don't believe your bodyfat is 3% but you look good.
If your bodyfat was 3% you would have visible striations all over.

I cut and bulked a series of times...but overall I'd say eating a surplus of calories of good food will keep you lean and put on muscle. Never really had to cut off much fat unless I was trying to get very lean. I'd say I gained mass slowly with little bodyfat but there have been times where I have gotten in the higher range. I think its necessary to grow at times.

I have been squatting since day 1. I Have a 455 lb squat ATG and a 550 lb deadlift. I can rack deadlift that weight for reps currently. Pics are pics and for enjoyment. hard to put on that type of mass without legs...if you notice, my core and body is thick, that kind of mass comes from heavy compounds, unlike someone who only trains upper body. You should know this since you preach the squats. I started power lifting actually in the beginning of my lifting career and transitioned into bodybuilding. Most of my mass has come from heavy compounds.

Thanks man. I honestly don't train abs aside from ab vacuums. Genetics gave me good abs and they have grown strong and solid from heavy squats and deadlifts. That's actually where I have put on the majority of my mass from.

yeah, took a break from lifting after 2007, didnt make much progress during 2008 and been back at it this last year or so. figured I'd post the transformation for now when i saw my old picture of 145 lbs. I am currently dieting and ready to take some new progress pics in 2-3 months.

Dude,
seriously no hate... I mean that 100% im just interested... you have asked a lot of questions about ph's roids and pct for a natural.. did you decide against it? or did you not really seriously consider it?
you look amazing and I admire your consistency.... I would love to acheive anything like what you have.
Thanks
Lee

I hope to be able to look like you before I die. I am 145 lbs right now and I just started hitting the gym using rippetoe's program a month ago. I hope that one day I can look like you.
Any tips that you can give someone starting out?

Thanks dude. Yeah researching for future usage. I have ran a cycle this year, thats why I put natural transformation from 2002 -2007. I turned a bit to the dark side this last year.
