solid depth vs. better starting lineup

my money league is a ppr league. my starting lineup is:

    qb: aaron rodgers
    hb: matt forte
    hb: deangelo williams
    wr: anquan boldin
    wr: bernard berrian
    wr: kevin walter
    te: tony gonzales
    d/st: eagles
    kicker: ryan longwell

    bench-
    kevin smith
    matt shaub
    patrick crayton
    josh morgan
    dustin keller
    jets d/st

when i look at my bench, what stands out to me is kevin smith. i am in a ppr league, and my wr are on the weak side. sure i have 2 studs at rb....but i have another solid rb sitting on my bench doing nothing. so, should i shop k. smith? what wr would you ask for in exchange for kevin smith? will rep any solid advice. thanks

scoring is standard 1 pt per 10 yards rush/rec. 6 pt tds. 1 point reception. 4 pt pass td.

I would package Smith or Forte and Walter or Crayton for a WR1 and a RB2/3. You would get more with Forte, but Smith would work too...just for less.

My approach would be to target a 2nd tier WR and a 3rd tier RB.

    Examples
Forte and Walter for TO and Grant/Dmac, or Welker and Grant/Dmac.

Sub Crayton for Walter if you have to. Smith is not going to bring you much IMO, and most "average" fantasy managers don't view him as high value. You would have 2 solid WRs, and play matchups.

If you trade Smith, I think you could pull Braylon, 85, maybe B Marshall...that tier of WR...guys with ?s surrounding them, but also with good upside for you.

Actuall if it were me i would shop Forte or DeAngelo before you shopped Kevin Smith in a PPR league. Id do something Similar to DL you could packagee up Forte and Boldin and get a top tier WR like Calvin, Andre, Smith, Moss, Fitz.
If you want to get to the playoffs then you need a good WR1.
Also if your in a PPR Berrian is an awful guy to have. He is very inconsistent. He is either catching a vertical route for 60 yards or not catching anything. Crayton or Morgan are better starts IMO.

You got alot of trading that you can do. You NEED to trade one of your RB's and preferably not K Smith. He will be getting catches all day long.
    I REP HELPFUL POSTS!

"Somewhere he is out there training while I'm not. One day when we meet, he will win."
