    does lowering your carb intake really matter for fat loss?

    why do people lower there carbs and up there fat intake. the calories are the same in the end. why is there greater fat loss with less carbs?

    fats keep people fuller, therefore are more desireable on a cut, fats and protein are essential for the body, carbs really aren't

    the human body does not need a direct source of carbs to survive. It needs fats/proteins. Your body will burn fat for energy instead of carbs if you lower your carb intake significantly.
