Post Leg Cramp

So I got a really awful calf cramp yesterday night. This is the first time I've ever had a cramp that didn't go away almost immediately.

I'm still a little bit sore today, and I've been putting a heat compress on it.

Here's my question though: is it necessary/advised to take tonight off from my workout (including a good half hour running)? Or should I just work through any soreness I'm feeling?

Just take the day off, keep heating it up, and make sure you get enough fluids/vitamins today. One day off won't kill your workout goals, but making that calf worse could lol
