    Close grip pull ups for width?

    I heard close grip was for width, is this true?

    and a side Q, should I do pull ups AND chin ups on back day? Or just bother with the pull ups?

    Okay so really I should be doing close and wide grip pull ups and chin ups? So all four exercises.. should I just superset my lats to hell then?

    any back exercise helps with width. some just put more emphasis on other areas as well.

    close grip = inner back/middle back/lower lats

    wide grip = traps/lats/inner back

    and supersets work extremely well for the back. your volume should be pretty high when working the back.
