Here we go. Alien thread with evidence, explain this one away.

This thread will be in parts. I'll go one by one, starting at the minor, easily "debunked" stuff and working up to the final, undeniable finish. Even if you aren't a "believer" it'll still make an interesting read. They will become more and more convincing as we go on. I was a skeptic until I studied up on this particular theory.

This is all a part of the "Ancient Astronaut" theory which is based on the fact that E.T life visited our ancient ancestors and imparted their knowledge to them. It is thought that they were a huge factor in the establishment of civilization as we know it today.


Lets start with the small stuff..... Pyramids.

Pyramids of Giza



-The great Pyramid is located at the EXACT center off all the landmass on earth. The intersecting of the longest line of longitude and the longest line of latitude.

-Its 4 sides line up directly with the 4 points on a compass, an instrument that wasn't invented until thousands of years later.

-The alignment and distance between each of the pyramids is an accurate representation of the orbits of each planet in our solar system.

-The period it took to build the great pyramid is listed in the texts and backed up by dating as 22 years. Logisticly speaking, that means that you would have to CUT, TRANSPORT and PLACE ONE stone EVERY NINE SECONDS. You mean to tell me that people of that time period did that by hand with no technological help? Placing many stones at once isn't really an option considering how perfectly they fit together (each would be cut to fit specificly in its place) and the scaffolding work that would exist preventing the placement of the other stones. There are modern engineers who say they couldn't do it in 22 years.

-To get the stones in place, the ramp leading up would have to be over 2 miles long. Even in modern times with the same means it would be nearly impossible to do. The rocks fit together so perfectly that even modern people and modern thinking would have a hard time being that good.

-Ancient texts say specificly that the pyramids were built by humans with the aid of "The guardians of the sky". Take from that what you will.

-It is written in ancient Egyptian texts the reason for these pyramids. The purpose of these structures was to store knowledge and house their kings (pharaohs). Mentioned in the texts are 300 books containing the secrets of the universe as dictated (again) by the "Guardians of the sky".

Look at this thing. Built by HAND in 22 years by humans alone?



At the same time pyramids were popping up all over the world. Ancient cultures seperated by huge oceans are building the same structures in the same way at around the same time.






TEOTIHUACAN - Literally "City of the gods".



-This particular Pyramid in South America came to be thousands of years ago and is almost the exact same size at its base of the Great pyramid. Structural coincidence?

-The orientation of "the isle of the dead", again, represents an accurate alignment of each of the orbits of the planets in our solar system. The large pyramid of the sun is located in the center, representing that the planets rotate around the sun. A fact that wasn't known until centuries later.

I wrote this for that other ****ty alien thread, so I'll post it here:

Opies on the rarity of life:

These are the problems:

-The conditions required for life to evolve are very specific and very narrow.
-Despite there being billions upon billions of planets, these conditions are undoubtedly still very very rare.
-Time = change, meaning while a planet may have conditions to harbor life at one point, a million years later it may not
-Catastrophes are random and constantly occur. Once again, a planet may have conditions to harbor life one day, and the next it is destroyed by a celestial body, or engulfed in a supernova.
-Evolution is an EXTREMELY time consuming process

These means we now have 3 problems for life occuring:

Conditions for life are very very rare
Conditions can change rapidly
Time is required for life to form and evolve

Now this is simply referring to life, now lets look at complexity and technology.

-Evolution of microorganisms may occur in more varied conditions (ie extremophile bacteria)
-Evolution of complex life however, requires a very important element, and that is CONSISTENCY of conditions.
-We know simply from looking at our own planet, that earth has gone around from crazy extremes. Covered in snow, to no solid water at all, oceans of pure hydrogen sulfide, to the planet being completely engulfed in clouds from volcanic eruptions... CO2 levels fluctuating from extremely low to extremely high.... We know there are problems like rampant greenhouse, global dimming, and other problems which can suddenly disrupt conditions. Only very recently (from a geological time standpoint) have we had consistent conditions, allowing us to leave billions of years of microorganisms, and evolve complex lifeforms.

-SO, we now know complex life has 5 problems:

Conditions for life are very rare
Conditions change rapidly
Catastrophe can strike at any time
Evolution requires an enormous amount of time
Evolution of complex life requires not only an enormous amount of time, but an incredible consistency of conditions

-Now, assuming somehow, all of these conditions are met, we would see a complex life form.
-Now just imagine, because I would rather not list and explain, all the special things we have that have allowed us to get where we are. Keep in mind the very special things, like our neurological development, our communication skills, the vast resources available upon this planet, the vast energy resources (such as fossil fuels) available upon our planet. Now while there could obviously be much MORE ideal circumstances, there could also be much worse.
-The point of the above is not to say we have great conditions to support technology, but to say, that development of technology requires a lot of these conditions, and thus, the probability gets even lower...


Now you can look at a few other problems that I won't go into:
~The universe is subject to entropy, and thus, biological life will always expire
~Simply traveling to our planet would require a vast amount of time and an extreme level of sophistication
~Life, for all we know, may be inherently anti-gaian, that is to say, that life makes conditions worse for itself. That life consumes itself and brings itself to an end as rapidly as possible. (just a possibility, I mean look at us)

There are many others but I don't feel like listing them...

ANYWAY... Taking all these factors into account, along with whole craploads of stuff I haven't even touched on... the chances of aliens being responsible for random geometric patterns in the farmer's fields of our planets, (or a couple big pyramids made of stone) is HIGHLY UNLIKELY
