Does Anyone Here Have a Wigo Flatiron?

I just purchased a Wigo Abstrax flatiron. Just wondering if anyone here has had any experience (good or bad) with this brand?

I have one, its the holographic decals on the side. I've had it a little over a year. It's been good so far but I either need to clean it or its starting to die on me, lol. Doesn't get as hot as it used to. Overall I've been pretty happy with it.

Cool. Thanks for the reply. Yeah, you might need to clean it. I just take a cotton square with rubbing alcohol and clean off the plates. Do you clean yours that way or do you use something different? My hair stylist told me about the alcohol. It was my first flatiron, so I had no idea how to clean it. Tip: Just don't clean it while it's hot. LOL

I have one, I'm a flat iron KILLER and that one has lasted 6 months or so, so far no complaints

honestly I usually kill'em before I clean them so the rubbing alcohol is a good idea, thanks!

Several of you mentioned that you "kill" your flatirons... How does one do that? I've never heard of a flatiron only lasting six months. What are you DOING to it?! LOL

I actually messed up my Sedu flat iron by wrapping the cord around it when I was done with it. After a while, I would have to jiggle the cord to get it to work and then eventually it just stopped working. Now I have a Chi which is okay (I don't wrap the cord anymore)...I don't use it very often because I'm at home most of the time. I have not heard of the Wigo before. Folica has reviews on tons of hair straighteners if you want to look at other people's opinions on it.
