IronIc's Resurrection from the Dead Journal!
I came in here looking for my journal and could not find it. So, I just started a new one! It has been a while since I have been in here.
I have been to the gym twice since getting laid off in July I have not been eating right, either, and just ballooned out. I am starting back in the gym tomorrow, and I am also going to weigh myself I am terrified of what I am going to see when I step on that scale. I know it is not going to be pretty. I am up to a size 16 (tightly) which is just below plus sizes. Stress has alot to do with this, and also just plain laziness. I got into the habit of couch-potatoeing (or is it couch-tomato-ing for us ladies?) Anyway, I want to live the healthy lifestyle again. My ankles are stiff in the morning and I am getting puffy when I exert myself -- and I feel like a total tub of lard. Not a good feeling!
That's the bad news, and here's better news -- I have gotten re-employed I will be working at home as a tech support call center agent for a large company. Soooo ... I can concentrate on other things besides freaking out over being unemployed. I feel very blessed indeed to have found this position. The pay isn't great, but then again it's a job.
I am also going to take measurements tomorrow morning before going to work (I start training at the office tomorrow). I am not looking forward to the results! lol
I need to stay here for good and not leave! It keeps me honest.

I've been thinking of you Penney! I'm glad to hear you've found a job.
You know what it takes to get in shape and I believe you can do it again. Eat, train, do cardio and repeat.
At this point, it's about health. We're here for you; let's do this!

Hey Tiff! I am very concerned about my health -- physically and mentally I am ready to eat healthy again. I hate having no energy and having to buy bigger and bigger clothes
It is simple, isn't it??? Of course, simple = not so easy to do But, it is doable.

Hey Ed! Today was chrest and shoulders. My strength is down, so I did some machine work.
CHEST:
STRIVE CHEST PRESS: 3x50x12
BB BENCH PRESS: 2x55x12, 50x12
PEC DECK FLIES: 2x40x12
SHOULDERS:
DB SHOULDER PRESS: 2x15sx12, 10sx12
DB SIDE LATERALS: 2x8sx12, 6sx12
CARDIO:
Treadmill: 5 min pre, 10 min post LISS
Tomorrow is diet time again. Today I had pizza for supper because Rick's daughter and granddaughter were down -- the grammy is so cute! lol I am going to do low fat, low carb, high protein. It's a diet I was on 2 years ago that was very good.
I weighed myself today at the gym despite my misgivings .. and it's bad ... 238 I am so embarrassed, but that is what happens when I don't watch what I eat and drink. I also avoided the gym for several weeks.
I hope everyone has a nice night
