It is circumstantial here. I have a friend who killed a man in his home. And they family went after my friend. But after proving fear, which is as simple as stating you were in fear, the case was dismissed.

Its a privilege to live in a free country without fear of foreign violence. He is doing his job and his job requires him to decide, kill or be killed. For oil, for greed, for whatever the true reason is for war, it is not the foot soldiers decision. It is his duty.

My friend lived in Nashville while attending NADS, for a year. I visited several times and it was on the darkest part of town. While visiting last November we had a man approach us and ask for money, we both told him to fukk off. He pulled a knife and made an advance. I pulled my .44 and shot him twice center mass.

I was robbed at gun point 4 years ago and aquired a pistol right after and vowed to myself to never be the victim again. I would rather die than give you what I have worked hard for.

The closest ive came was when i lived in southern san deigo. and this meth head neghbor, (i didn't know this prior to moving in) ( he acting very disorderly, calling some black ppl at a bus stop the n-word,) was drunk and he came knocking on my door telling me I was going to fight this other guy, or he was going to kill me ( I was talking to him through the security screen). I grabbed my 12 gage and told him lets tango. I called san diego sheriff dept and they came and arrested him.

In CA you cant just shoot someone if they enter your home unwelcomed. its just breaking and entering at that point. you must believe that your life is truly in danger, or that you're at risk for great bodily harm.

In my case, I know that SDSO has arrested him before, and he had a knife on him as well as being high on meth. add that to the fact that he was a known meth user, showed signs of being high on meth, and drunk, I had reason to believe that I was at risk for great bodily harm, and/or death.

If mr bg just breaks into your home, charges you with a knife, you fire once/twice/three times at center-mass and he falls down and just lies there, and you call 911 and run out of the house, thats self defense( or a variant of it).

now if mr bg falls down, and then you walk up to him and fire 10 rounds in to his skull while hes lying there screaming not presenting himself as harmfull, then that becomes murder.

When I joined the army, I was made aware that I was no longer Craig Mead. I was just a number. War isnt if Craig Mead dies.....its a numbers game to the Gov. Now If I am just a number and dont matter in the greater scheme of things and can pull the trigger, and end the life of another number, then I know now that I am Craig Mead civillian again, I can pull the trigger again and take a life and wont lose a wink of sleep because I did it. I know that my life, and the life of my family and friends is worth more to me than anyone else, and I WILL pull the trigger again........ Sad but true

There is no way UK gun laws would EVER work in America, nor should they have to.
A criminal will acquire and use a gun if he wants to. No amount of gun controls or "laws" will stop that. A criminal by their very definition is one who BREAKS the law, guns laws included. Simple as that.

Im not by any means an expert in law, that question may be better suited for a lawer or a police officer.


but like i said, in CA, defending yourself is simply put "in danger of death or great bodily harm".

Why did you shoot this man? how was he endangering you? did you act out of adriniline(sp), or was he actually trying to harm you?
