ok, here's the story.
I was leaving the lab at about midnight and walking out to my acr that is on the other side of campus. I noticed a couple pretty big dudes standing a couple hundred feet away from my car but didnt think much of it. as I got closer they started walking towards me. one of them yelled something at me but i didn't understand it and just sort of ignored it. I went to get in my car and he yelled "your ****ing dead" and pulled a hunting knife out of his coat. I drew my gun, pointed at him and said "you sure about that?" they both turned around and ran off.

I'm not going to lie, it scared the hell out of me!

and Utah is a pretty ccw friendly state. A lot of people carry and I know 3 others that have had to draw. thankfully none had to take the shot.

I've never fired mine but I have pulled it before once. It was in D.C. I'm pretty happy I didn't fire it though. I hear D.C. has strict gun laws or something. I don't know, I live in Virginia. I wasn't really scared during it. I don't even think the guy had a knife or anything. He was just "Hey white boy" I ignored him. He walked alittle closer "I'm gonna fuk dis white boy up"(lol, wut?). I drew my colt, pointed it at his head, then he ran. Not that exciting and it happened pretty quick.

DC has some of the strictest gun laws in the country. Until recently you couldnt even transport a gun unless it locked in a case, unloaded.

Funny how they also have the highest gun crime rate in the nation.

Gun control equals easy targets.
