Gurley suspended for alleged violation of NCAA rules. Supposedly video taped signing autographs for money but the person reporting it doesn't have anything showing the money part only TG3 signing stuff. How does shet like this always happen before our biggest games? I wonder if it's proven false if he will travel to Mizz. They said he missed practice today and will most likely not be on travel list. This means Chubb is starter with Douglas as backup. They have karempelis and 3rd string but I wonder if JJ will see some action and chances of Marshall getting back in. Does anyone have news on Mitchell or JSW?

Self reported, we are benching him. Goodbye sweet Gurley. There are multiple reports all over the place of various selling autographs for cash. The main one here sounds like it is only $400 which NCAA is a one game suspension. Not sure if other stuff will pop up and they will have to (or voluntarily) bench him for longer. Richt is pretty stern on his guys which is good for building character, but bad for winning football games. I understand drug, assault and other charges like that, but I could really give a crap about getting a little cash on the side for autographs with most of these players are poor as hell.

With or without Gurley I think YALL beat us tomorrow. But was really hoping to see how our young line backing core would perform against a back of his caliber. We showed improvement in that part of our defense against SCar. Chubb is still a beast though.

Aint gonna happen man min. time is 2 games at least. Still no proof was posted. Guy who ratted him out hired a lawyer. ****s getting real.
Wont happen man. Mauk can throw the football. Your passing game is good and our secondary is garbage. You guys have two really good pass rushers and Mason is a shiit storm. Expect it to be a blow out or a high scoring game. Mizzou 41 GA- 31
EDIT: Bryan Allen, sports shop owner from Villa Rica was the one that ratted Gurley out. Dude is about to get raped. lol.Last edited by Dawginitup16; 10-10-2014 at 01:36 PM.

Just last week a student in Athens accused TG3 of physically punching him in the face and TG3 was taken in for questioning. After they questioned him it was evident that Gurley picked up something that was dropped by someone on the bar and when he stood up the guy thought he was hit by Gurley. It was somebody else in the bar who in fact actually hit this kid..

Wasn't able to watch the full game but only the highlights-
QB- glad to see both still got work in yesterday. Mason still seems average but I guess with this much talent behind him that's all they're expecting. He doesn't over do anything and has a lot of balls thrown behind line of scrimmage.
WR- love to see Bennett score. Glad MM got 6 catches so going to help him find his groove. Anybody else cringe when you see him get hit? Did not see much of JSW or hear anything of him so someone else chime in please.
RB- oh my lawd Chubb and Douglass
Defense- can't tell if Mauk was that bad or our secondary played that good. I think they made us look a lot better than we really are but either way I'll take it. Glad to see them get a shutout and glad to see the front 7 hold strong all game. Loving the pass rush aggressiveness we are starting to show again.
Special Teams- seems that we showed up to play and that's great. A lot was carried by the defense but the ST still played well.
Gurley- I heard they expect to hear something this week. They believe he did do it but it was approximately 400$ which equates to a one game suspension which means it would have already met criteria and he could possibly play for Arkansas. However I think UGA will extend it and he will be back for Florida.
Injuries- Michel out next week but expected for Florida. Marshall probable for Arkansas but I wouldn't expect much I believe the hype of his season is over unfortunately it will all be about rebuilding for next season. Conley has a sprained (bruised) MCL probably out 1-2 weeks depending on speed of rehab.

Did they move Swann to the star position? If so then finally! Dudes good in zone but at CB he isnt fast enough to keep up with these guys.
I dont think UGA adds to Gurleys suspension, especially when a potential Heisman is on the line. Hopefully missing a game doesnt hurt his chances but the disciplinary stuff might. Either way I hope the defense keeps progressing. Huge confidence builder for them last week on the road. Need to take this attitude to Little Rock and ultimately Jacksonville. Thankfully the Gayturs are a dumpster fire this year. But as always they will come ready to screw our East Champs hopes. It might be their Super Bowl.GA Crew

Swann has played some star position since the start of the season. I hate to say it but he gets burned so often as a senior and I hate it. He needs to work more on the line and find ways to slow down receivers initially. I think Pruitt is maintaining a rotating star position so the offense can never capitalize truly. It's genius in my opinion.

Some reports are saying we should know by Friday and some are saying it was a published mistake to give a time table. DrSEC says that Gurley should be back and the NCAA will count it as "time served". This sounds like he either did it for the small amount or he didn't do it but missed a game already.
Anybody have any further updates on this?Georgia Bulldogs/Orlando Magic/Miami Dolphins/UCF Knights/BoSox

That all being said. I believe Arky pulls out its first win this weekend. But then again I also thought Mizzou was going to boat race us out of Columbia. Hoping the defense is ready to stuff the run.

Sometimes I ask myself why I even care about the news..
Need to just stay focused on Arkansas man they are under rated and I fully believe they can destroy our hopes of the SEC East with a conference loss.
They are no joke and we better not be over confident from last week. They can hang with the best in the west.Georgia Bulldogs/Orlando Magic/Miami Dolphins/UCF Knights/BoSox
