My thoughts:
First of all, the offense ran 10-15 different plays all day. Same with the D. We were obviously keeping it pretty vanilla.
Penn Wagers and Crew were bad as always. Blatant hold(s) on Buffalo's first TD.
We reallllllllly missed all of our talent on D. This team is completely different without Tree (see last year during his injury) and Rambo.
Murray overthrew a couple of walk-in TDs (as usual) but adjusted to connect with TKing. He didn't turn the ball over or do anything too stupid and had a solid day.
The offensive line didn't really play well, they did improve over the course of the game. Run blocking was better than pass blocking. According to Socrates (ex-UGA OL) our 2nd string OL graded out very well. That being said, I'm worried about them getting nicked up.
The new TBs are going to be good. Gurley has great balance (somebody said yesterday "runs like Trent, cuts like Knowshon") and Marshall is fast as advertised, although he did go down easier. Boo's injury worries me for next week.
Connor Norman should stick to special teams.

I think that Sanders Commings had his appeal granted and might play against Mizzou. That's the latest scuttlebutt anyways.
Here's a great read on Todd Gurley (written by the guy who pointed Coach McClendon in Gurley's direction):

As for my actual thoughts on the game, I'll post those later.

Heard they won't travel with the team but that's all hearsay.
We probably won't run much 3-4 D as it doesn't defend the spread much anyway. Would be very nice to have Bacarri back though.
Mitchell should be good for the game. Same for OL J. Theus.
Georgia should win the game. But we always seem to lay an egg or two every season. Just depends on which Georgia team shows up.**Georgia (Jawjuh) Crew**

I've heard about Tree possibly playing from 2 different sources, a mod on LHB (who said it 6 weeks ago and again over the weekend after talking to a popular (very) booster at the game) and from somebody involved academically with an inside linebacker who I will not name.
I think Dean Legge on Scout was the first one to mention that Commings could play. We'll know for sure when the travel roster gets out, though.

Well it's game day and Georgia should come out fired up. Honestly what richt should do on some of these big games is change up the scheme. Come out for first series on offense and do a few quick passes to get Murray in the groove. Run a couple plays in and out and no try to go deep for first couple series til murray has his timing down.

We're deep enough on D to stop them even with 4 starters gone. Mizz getting way over hyped because of a route of jackson middle school or whoever they played. Looking forward to a wake up call for them.

All I could keep thinking about was how that missed extra point was gonna bite us in the ass. Until we tied it up anyway. Great win.

Ok my analysis.
The first half start we had was great on defense. But on offense we can't do this because better teams will take advantage of those missed opportunities and make us pay. Now second half Jarvis jones was kept kind of quiet until it was crunch time and he exploded big! Extra shout out to Mitchell! Dude played his heart out at corner. Every pass his way he was on point with coverage and minimizing yards after the catch! I do think King was under utilized as well as Gurley this game. But, that fourth quarter magic is just what we needed for SEC confidence I believe this will leave us with great motivation for rest o season!Georgia Bulldogs/Orlando Magic/Miami Dolphins/UCF Knights/BoSox

FAU should be another glorified scrimmage for us. Can't look past them, but this should be a gimme game, especially with some of our starters coming back.
Vandy is the Saturday after that. Will be played under the lights, a night game! 7:30pm. Can't look over vandy especially after last year's close matchup and the ensuing scuffle including Coach Grantham.
Dunno bout y'all, but I'm feelin excited about this season after saturday's fourth quarter domination over MizzZZzzou.**Georgia (Jawjuh) Crew**
