I actually saw a guy in my gym the other day who based his entire routine on 2 inch ROM, this was not only on leg presses but also on DB curls, one arm cable pulldowns, and tricep extensions as well. I can only assume it serves a purpose based on whatever program he is running, like one day a week you do all partial bs but it was weird as **** to watch.

strong = internet slang for large presence
unaware(s) = out of the loop (of an inside joke)
strong unawares = you showed a major amount of ignorance when it came to the inside joke. (no offense to ya, just you aren't near large enough an internet nerd as you need to be )
Pffft, you and your logic amuse me.-

People like that in the gym are such jokes. Some bring their ego's and it's a shame. Some guy did a similar thing at my gym and he ended up having to sit down for nearly 20, because he tried lifting too much on squats, despite his partner saying he shouldn't go that heavy.
I have a good joke about water retention. But I'm going to hold onto it for now.

Beats me why you're surprised.
In all the time I've been training I could probably count on one hand the number of people I've seen using the full ROM on leg press.
Most of them have chicken legs but put on 8 or more plates a side to move the sled a few inches. I'm sure their knee caps get a good workout.
It wouldn't bother me if they didn't take every spare plate in the gym to do it.
