you cant easiest/cheapest way is to make it. I start out with about 5 lbs wet of ground venison when the GFs dad gives us meat every year, but you have to figure the cost of the meat and the cure and even if you can get the meat for 5$ per pound (i use ground turkey breast sometimes) you will yield much less than a pund of jerky.

Na it's name brand stuff just past expiration. As long as the seal isn't broken you're good to go.

its like london broil with natural flavoring. Has less than 1g fat per serving and very low sodium and no carbs.

....and its cheap to boot. Especially when you buy it by the pound. once i ate this stuff, i never ate anything else. its tender, dont hurt your jaw and is not loaded with chemical preservatives!!

I watched a show on how they actually make quality beef jerky at a seller's factory. Its actually a very time consuming and complicated process with a lot of factors and steps to take. Its a lot of work, so thats why its so expensive.
