I lost the love of my life 2 months ago in a terrible car accident. It has been rough, but the thing is she was one of a pair of identical twins...

would it be inappropriate to ask her twin out? I feel like she is my only chance to ever have my baby back...

I'd say the only thing you can do is date this twin sister and PIITB. That way when she cringes, you can say "But, your sister always let me" which will cause the twin to lament and allow you the butt play for old time's sake.

So sorry for your loss man. That's absolutely horrible and I know you must be hurting bad. IMO it'd be a bad idea to ask out her twin though. She's a different person than your girlfriend was. If you are trying to date her to regain a piece of your old girl, you're doing her sister a huge disservice. If you are generally interested in the sister for who she is then that might be a different story since you'd probably both welcome the comfort in your times of need. But the fact that you said, "I feel like she is my only chance to ever have my baby back..." makes me think you should definitely NOT ask her out.
