If you live in a city that you hate and the only thing good was a gf of less than 6 months...and you had a opportunity to leave the country to go somewhere else to work..like Europe...would you go?

If it was a one time opportunity, absolutely. Less than 6 months? You barely know this girl and there is still a pretty big chance it won't work out in the end. If you miss out on a great opportunity it will be even harder to stay together since you will always hold your regrets over her head.

If you can go and take this job at any time then I might see how the relationship plays out but only if you REALLY think that girl is a good fit. But I'd still probably go.

do you hold your gf's opinion high? if so, ask her what she thinks? honestly if it's a great opportunity, take it. Im a firm believer in if it's meant to be, it will all work out in the end.

yep, I'd go. The relationship most likely won't work in the end, and you won't be happy in that city. The job opportunity will better you as a person. One of the biggest regrets I have right now is never living abroad. Would dump current GF for a job in Europe.

ya i mean, if they were very serious, then maybe he should ask her about it. but this is his decision, so he needs to do it for himself. he could ask her for the lols and just to get input on where they stand together, but its his decision to make.

Like I said that is a pretty basic question he asked. There is too much to decide based on other factors that could be involved.

My dad had the choice to either marry my mom when he was getting transferred to another military base, or he could have been like "Well if it was meant to be we will get back together". He made the decision to marry her and look 25+ years later STILL married

That is a factor I am talking about. There is ALOT of IFS envolved. If I got a job offer right now lets say in Texas unless it was paying double what I make now, I wouldnt take it. Because my GF is not done with school right now, and we have a serious relationship

I'm just curious why so many people say "that relationship won't work out"? I mean wtf you don't know anything about these two people, how do you know it won't work? lol Just annoys me because that phrase is said way too much up in this bitch.

If you can see a future with this girl, I'd say don't go, but only you know this and have to be really sure about your relationship.

Well I picked to go to Tokyo. I have 6-7 more months before I leave so I'll see how things work out with her. I hope she understand how much I dislike this island.
