As a pure math student, i have little free time. Since i also like music and need to do some exercise, i thought about the possibility of doing some cardio (in a treadmill) at same time as i practice playing music (electric guitar). Are there reasons not to do this? About safety i can just put some mattresses behind the treadmill so that doesn't seem like a reason not to do it.

If you could juggle butcher knifes while blindfolded singing karaoke on a treadmill I would be impressed.
Before Paul Hogan became famous, he got a tv spot in Australia for a tap dance and knife throwing performance. It was a one time gig. He built up the anticipation. Tapped his feet twice and then threw a handful of knives at a wall.Current rankings

I used to study for my finals in college by reading a paragraph between sets. I majored in history so most of my work was reading and paper writing, so this was a good way to economize time. For my econ minor this was not very feasible, however.

I think you’d be ok with the triangle or cowbell. Electric guitar? Not so much.
I don’t think Noel Gallagher ever replaced his scissors player. Could be another option.
